Work of the Foundation:

Little Bloomsbury Foundation is a non-profit organization

committed to “promoting peace and hope in an
uncertain world” via mass media, art, and culture
education. We organize and sponsor events and TM
programs that create positive transformational impact on
communities.

Solution through Art:

The current recession is notable for the severity of

economic contraction and the length of decline, both of
which top all nine previous recessions since WWII. This
has prompted us to inspire through art solutions or the
awakening of solutions that all members of society and
all walks of life could join hands to create. Indeed, the
challenge is more overwhelming than anyone could
overcome alone. We therefore dare all participating
artists to step out of their comfort zone to collaborate
with other artists in search of a collective solution.

Submission Solutions to economic crisis through self-reliance and

provident living; education, community outreach and self-
content: opportunity creation; networking and adaptability that go
beyond virtual reality to involve real people and real
interactions – all being critical for the new generation’s
survival training.

Required 1. Develop and work with a team of ≥ 2 artists; no fee & no

size or age limit
processes:
2. Reach out to the under-/unemployed to (i) absorb their
realities and (ii) inspire on their crisis with potential
resolves through power of your art.

Power of art to influence:

The creation as well as appreciation of art can help

enhance adaptation because it is ambiguity that
heightens interest and makes art intriguing. The 2010
event is intended to awaken artists on adaptability and
sociability, and wisdom in building long-term reserves in
their career and life planning, and in turn have them
inspire and educate the public mind with power of their
art. The festival theme will be promulgated with exhibits
and workshops on related topics.

Submission Original creative works of all subjects and all mediums (e.g.
art, music, poetry, fiction, plays, audio arts, short films), with
content: a special interest in that which (a) inspires solution and
planning for individuals and families facing employment
challenges or (b) motivates employment preparedness among
youngsters and careerists alike in an uncertain global
economy. Visit http:// littlebloomsbury.blogspot.com.
See Poster Competition also for inspiration.
