Department of MLCU especially the Head of the Department of Social Work and my
supervisor who gave me full support and helped me with my research study.
I sincerely would like to thank the Registrar of MLCU for kindly allowing me to carry out
this study and giving me the greatest chance to pursue my career at the field of social work at
MLCU for three years.
I lastly would like to say Big Thanks towards the Chin Refugee Delhi, India, for their warm
welcome and willingly permitting me to carry out my study and to collect data and
information needed for my study as well as for good participation in carrying out my study
along with the researcher.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The researcher had been carried out this study for nine months from September 2013 to June
2014 special focused on the educational systems of Chin Refugee Delhi, India with special
reference to children ages between 5-15 years old who were enrolling at primary and middle
schools education.
Chapter I of the study discusses about brief introduction about Chin and Chin State,
Myanmar, 2008 Myanmar Constitution on Fundamental Rights and Duties of Citizenships,
concepts of Refugee, Chin Refugee in Delhi, India, importance of children education,
definitions on education and its systems, and the objectives of the study.
Chapter II discusses about the researchers literature reviews focus on the educational
systems of Myanmar, Chin State of Myanmar, India, and concepts and functions of
educations by different authors from different sources. Chapter II also discusses the
educational systems of Chin Refugee Delhi, India.
Chapter III of the study discusses about the research methodology applied by the researcher
for this study with specific statements on how the study had been carried out by applying
what methods and approach to accomplish the study with great success.
Chapter IV of the study discusses about findings and interpretations after analysing data
whereby each of the figures and table show data with specific percentages and interpretations.
Additionally, Chapter V discusses about the researcher discussion based on findings which
the researcher sees as the main major problems of Chin Refugee Delhi, India at the aspect of
children education.
Chapter VI discusses about the conclusion of the study which concludes the study by repointing out the concepts of the study relating to the findings.
Moreover, Chapter VII discusses about recommendation based findings which the researcher
felt important by looking into the needs of Chin refugee Delhi, India. In addition, the
bibliography and appendix also are given.
