3. Install and Configure Lync 2010


3.1.

Overview
The following instructions demonstrate the steps required to install and configure Lync 2010
for Android.

3.2.

Install Lync 2010 for Android


3.2.1.

On the home screen open Android Market and search for Lync 2010.

3.2.2.

Select Lynx 2010 and on the following screen Download.

Select OK to agree to Lync 2010 application permissions. Lync 2010 will now download
and install with a link placed on the desktop.

Configure Lync 2010


3.3.1.

Open Lync 2010 and select Agree to accept the terms of use.

At the log-in screen enter your short CompuCom email (not


firstname.lastname@compucom.com) address as username and CompuCom
password.

At the title screen select Next to continue.

3.3.4.

Enter your phone number for the android device and select Next.

Configuration of Lync 2010 has completed and Lync will inform you that Youre
all set! Select Done to continue.
