HALLOWEN-myth and tradition.

Halloween.

Did you know that Halloween is an American celebration has its European origins? Well if you
don't know now you know for sure. It is estimated that 2,000 years ago Celts had on November 1
new year marking the end of the harvest, but also the beginning of winter. They believed that the
night before the new year represents a kind of border between the realm of the living and the
world of the dead and that the ghosts return to haunt the Earth. Do you think they have tried to
drive out these spirits? Well Yes. To fix spirits they built sacrifice on plans for grain or animal
would sacrifice. In the 7th century Pope Boniface he dedicated to remembrance day on
November 1, the Saints and martyrs, All Saints Day or All Hollows Day .
Halloween name comes from the phrase "all hallows ' even" in English, the feast of all saints.
This holiday was brought by the colonists in America and is a combination of many faiths and
traditions.

Pumpkin is a myth of Halloweenului. Lanterns carved pumpkins were called Americans "Jack
the lantern". At first these were lanterns made from turnips. I don't know what is a nap? Will say
it is a kind of white beets, they are usually in French cuisine and the German. This myth stems
from an old Irish legend which says that it was once an old farmer and avaricious named Jack.
Stingy.Legend has it that he tricked the devil to climb into an Apple and there i carved a cross in
the bark. Jack has sparked ire Satan whom he cursed as he never find eternal rest and to and fro
through the Earth without can get into heaven or hell. The only thing that was given to Jack
Stingy was a piece of jar to illuminate steps. It took the piece of jar and put her in a pumpkin that
they say they would used as lantern and nowadays.
It is said that if in the Halloween night clean an Apple Peel in front of a mirror lighted a candle
you might appear the image of avarice "Jack.

Another myth says that on the night of Halloween spirits of people who died during the year past
is coming back to Earth to possess people thus acquire a new life.
The Celts in the Halloween night to chase away the spirits do not heat their houses just for the
fact lest any spirit to penetrate inside the home. They believe that spirits and chase away the cold
makes them return to their world. Also frightening that her robes to keep correspondence
somewhat with their world. The predominant colors this holiday are black and orange, black is
the color of death, evil, and the evil things of the night and orange symbolizes the famous
Halloween Pumpkin.

Well I know that in this world of spirits, the

darkness of the night, if I may say so children play and they play an important role,
have a habit of theirs in the Halloween night and say "Trick or Treat", is a kind of
"give us or give us not at us." Children go from House to House to Christmas carols
for the first sweets. Nice huh? Too bad this is not usual practice and to us. In
Romania, our Halloween night stars rages in don't know what fancy clubs if I may
say so and reading past and Halloween. And the next day we wake up in front of the
small screen and see how so-and-so was disguised in vampiroaica sexy, so-and-so
in Gala and so on.

I tell you what I found while I perform for my material. They say authorities in
Michigan have seen forced to ban lighting up after 6 p.m. due to fires which have
regarded place in recent years in the Halloween night. As a result two firefighters
were United States Agency in connection with the smoke that came from the yard of
an old man. They rang the doorbell of the woman and that he has them with
helmets in hand, filling them with candy and before they close the door i asked "but
you are not too big to go Caroling?".
