Special Operations
Stormtroopers of the Inquisition are not lightly cast into battle. The inscrutable aims of the
Inquisition hinge upon their operations, and thus they are dedicated to one mission, and
one mission only.
Before deployment, declare to your opponent which mission each Stormtrooper squad in
your army is following:
Reconnaissance: The targets of the Inquisition are often shocked to find previously
unoccupied positions packed with heavily armed Stormtroopers.
The unit gains the Scouts and Move Through Cover special rules.
Airborne Assault: Experts in the use of grav-chute assisted drops from low-flying aircraft,
Inquisition Stormtroopers are known for their inhumanly precise airborne assaults.
The unit may re-roll the scatter dice when they Deep Strike.
Behind Enemy Lines: Decades of rigorous training combined with the resources of the
Inquisition allows the Stormtroopers to secure a position in hostile territory with ease.
The unit gains the Infiltrate special rule, and their weapons count as
Pinning the first time the unit fires.
Mindscrubbed: Inquisition Stormtroopers are rigorously tested for purity, incorruptibility and
aptitude, but even these men and women must be routinely mindscrubbed to help cope with
the trauma of facing incomprehensible horrors.
The unit may choose whether to pass or fail any Morale check or Pinning test it is called upon
to make, even if failure is normally automatic. They are not affected by “No Retreat!” wounds.
