City Councilor Edna M. Dahino reported about the need to revisit the Citys existing ordinances
on billboard regulations and on anti-pornography, among other things.
Action taken:
The Body adopted Motion Nos. 22293-2015 & 22294-2015.
(At this juncture, Councilor Ramon G. Tabor relinquished the Chair

to Councilor Teodulfo E. Lao, Jr. to render his own special report).
ii. Councilor Ramon G. Tabor reported about the present condition of the courts and other related
departments holding offices at Cagayan de Oro City Hall wherein judges and prosecutors are
subjected to inconvenience and inhuman conditions not befitting the dispensation of justice
and proposed the passage of a resolution requesting the Supreme Court to look into their
plight.
Action taken:
The Body adopted Resolution No.12201-2015.

(At this juncture, Councilor Teodulfo E. Lao, Jr. relinquished
back the Chair to Councilor Ramon G. Tabor).

iii. Councilor Annie Y. Daba reported about the continued use by establishments of thermal paper
in their POS machines despite BIR regulation disallowing the use of thermal paper for receipts,
among other things.
Action taken: The Presiding Officer referred the report to the Committee on Trade, Commerce
& Cooperatives for appropriate action.

RESPECTIVELY, LOCATED IN UPPER BALULANG, THIS CITY, WITH A TOTAL AFFECTED AREA
OF 10,557 SQUARE METERS, SO AS TO CHANGE THE LAND USE THEREOF FROM RECREATIONAL
(AS REFLECTED IN APPROVED SUBDIVISION PLAN FROM DENR LAND MANAGEMENT
SERVICES) TO COMMERCIAL; AND FOR THIS PURPOSE, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 4304-94, AS
AMENDED
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council (Sangguniang Panlungsod) of the City of Cagayan de Oro in
session assembled that:
SECTION 1. - The application of A. Brown Company, represented by Ms. Mary Shiela C. Mercurio,
Manager, Compliance Department, for Alteration of Plan covering a portion of Xavier Estate, Phase I,
particularly Lot 1-B-1 and Lot 1-B-2, containing an area of 4,397 square meters and 6,160 square meters,
respectively, located in Upper Balulang, this City, with a total affected area of 10,557 square meters, so as to
change the land use thereof from recreational (as reflected in approved subdivision plan from DENR Land
Management Services) to commercial is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. - For this purpose, Ordinance No. 4304-94, as amended is hereby amended accordingly.
SECTION 3. - This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
