SYSTEM GUIDE

 ETCs can schedule exams for their students at their

convenience using the ECC exam system.
Access to the ECC exam portal is provided to all ECCouncil Authorized Training Partners.
Only ECC vouchers can be used in conjunction with the
ECC exam portal
ETCs must appoint a Proctor/s and that the relevant
Proctor agreement is signed. ETCs must strictly ensure that
instructors are not allowed to proctor exams for students.

What will you need to conduct the exams?

You will need the following:
High speed Internet access preferably T1 speed or higher.
Prometric Prime Shell Software
Proctor ID provided by EC-Council
Windows XP or higher PCs
Mozilla Firefox Browser latest version
Adobe Acrobat Reader latest version
Printer

Please request the student to register first before starting
the exam.

Step 2: Configure Prometric Prime Shell Software

Prometric Prime shell software locks down application
windows during the exam. The candidatewill not be allowed
to visit websites or launch programs in Windows while this
program is run. Itis very important that you conduct the
exam using Prometric Prime shell software.

a. To download Prometric Shell Lock down Software, click

b. Unzip the files and run the setup program.

Launch the program under Start --> Programs --> Prometric

Prime Shell
You will see a blank screen with Address field displayed at the top.
Click the key icon located at the bottom left of the screen. This
will bring up logon window.

Enter the following: username: pradmin and password: pradmin.

This will log you to administrative mode.

g. Turn on the Enable User Printing

h. Turn off Show Address Field
i. Turn on Always On Top (NT/2000)

Select the Sites tab.

Click Add and enter the following at the input box:

Enable All users Denied Access radio button.

n. Click the OK button and you are all set.

o. To exit the Prometric Prime Shell software, logon using the
key icon at the bottom left screen and select Exit
Lockdown software.

Step 3: Setup Printer

Printer is required to print exam transcripts at the end
candidates exam session. Setup the printer using Window
Print setup program in control panel and print a test page.

Create an account at https://www.eccexam.com/

GETTING STARTED

Click Register

completed

Please note that any changes on certification will cost an admin fee of USD 75.00

Enter Username
and Password to
Login

Read the notice and click Continue

Read and agree to the Privacy Notice and click Next

Choose the exam and click Take the test

Enter Voucher code and click Submit

Proctor to enter Proctor ID and Password and click Submit

Test will Begin

At the end of the exam, the student can print out the Result Transcript showing
the outcome of the exam (score achieve vs required). Student can access the EC-Council
ECC exam portal at any point in time to print their Result Transcript.

If there are any interruptions within the duration of the exam session, the proctor
will need to report the session disruption immediate to EC-Council (send email to
certmanager@eccouncil.org ).

Proctors are required to report all forms of exam irregularities including cheating
to EC-Council immediately upon uncovering any such irregularities.

Proctors need to adhere to the EC-Council Proctor Guideline failing which, the
students exams may be revoked.
