CREC is now offering Rethinks dynamic, web-based curriculum, training, and data-tracking platform.
This technology uses evidence-based practices to help special education staff better support students
with autism and related disabilities. Through video and online tools, Rethink brings to life best practice
teaching and intervention strategies, which help educators personalize instruction for every child and
maximize academic outcomes.
Highlights of the platform include:
A comprehensive, research-based curriculum that is aligned with Common Core Standards
More than 1,500 brief videos that help train teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents on the most
effective instructional practices
Behavior planning, which helps teachers to create intervention plans and effectively address
challenging behaviors
Data-tracking tools with tablet and mobile interfaces, which generate automated graphs and reports
for progress monitoring and parent meetings
Fidelity of instructional practices, which provide opportunities for collaborative planning and
professional development and help students to attain Individualized Education Program goals
In addition, Rethinks online registered behavior technician certification course will soon be available
to help educators extend their skills to better meet student needs. The course meets the training
requirements for the registered behavior technician certification credential that is outlined in the
Behavior Analysis Certification Board task list.
