What is Dharma?
Dharma can be seen as religion, duty or righteousness.
Dharma teaches what to do, and what not to do.
How did Dharmadev get his name?
Dharmadev used to teach and know a lot about Dharma so he got
the name Dharmadev.
Leelas on Dharma
When Maharaj was very young, he used to get up early in the morning and
going to the river with his mum to have a bath. After having a bath he
went to visit every temple in Ayodhya, and do darshan. After he done his
darshan he went home and did his pooja. Now this is maharaj setting an
example for us at a very young age. This is his leela and it is his dharma
as well. Dharma is a duty, what we should do is dharma. Bhagwan says
do not lie don't kill, their all dharma. Coming to mandir is dharma. Here
bhagwan has set an example of dharma as a leela.
Dharma's you can do now
Dont swear
Dont lie
Dont kill living things
See an ant just leave it dont kill let it go its not harming you.
They shall never kill goats and/or other living beings in sacrifice
performed for the Yagna (propitiation) of deities and Pitris
(ancestors), for non-violence is declared by all the Shastras
(scriptures), as the highest Dharma of all the Dharmas. (12).
One shall never listen to any religious discourses from a person
whose preaching might lead one away from devotion to Lord Shree
Krishna or ones Dharma. (25)
They shall then read hymns or the religious scriptures about Lord
Shree Krishna according to their ability, and those who do not know
Sanskrit, shall sing songs in the praise of Lord Shree Krishna and
chant His name. (57)
