Gza Seminegra draws its inspriation from

french oldstyle typeface Devinne by
Gustav Schroeder from 1893concerning
the need of plainer types of display and a
return to the simplicity of the true old-style
character. Gzas strong color, apertures,
stroke contrast and proportions are designed
to excell as a body typeface in small sizes.
The brutality of the triangle serifs and its
pointed shapes contrast with the drop
shaped endings. This clash of two formal
principles makes it perfectly suitable as a
display typeface too. Gza comes with
a distinctive, yet very legible italic version.
