CAD/CAM PROTOCOL CHANGE: After taking the final impression of the cast, submit
both a yellow-stone cast of the opposing arch & the final impression (to be poured
in die keen). This is to ensure quality control. (They will pour up the die keen arch and
use the yellow-stone cast to confirm that this will be good for CAD/CAM.) Please fill in
the work request as stated before.
Feel free to make an appointment with Dr. Estafan in 8W (the signup sheets
are at the counter) and show her the casts for a consultation to ensure that they
are qualified for CAD/CAM.
(Note: If you ever have an appointment in 8W, you must bring all of your
instruments from your clinic floor.)
There are a few details on working with Dr. Estafan in 8W for CAD/CAM or other
esthetic procedures that needed to be clarified. These are included in a document
that has been compiled.
If you are planning on doing CAD/CAM or other esthetic procedures (e.g.
Laminate veneers, porcelain crowns, Gold Inlay/Onlay, Fixed Partial denture
in the esthetic zone, please see this document!
MISSED CAD/CAM TRAINING SESSION: If you have missed a session, you must
make it up by attending any of the remaining sessions. You can find the remaining
