EFFECTIVE
LEADERSHIP AND
TEAMWORK
2

Team works that spreading into the business and institutions long time ago, has become
the key to success and solution even of the multi-dimensional problems. Although
success in the team work is related with the perspective of senior managerial level , but
also is about the relationships of the followers, team members, and their willingness to
work, and their aptitude to cooperation.
Efficiency of leader in the teamwork is the first factor to success in the team event

Evaluation of Leadership
In evaluation and analysis of leadership it takes a lot to build great teams.Leaders who
are not afraid to be corrected, make the difficult decisions and establish standards of
performance that are constantly being met and improving at all times. Whether in
the workplace, professional sports, or local community, team building requires a keen
understanding of people, their strengths and what gets them excited to work with others.
Team building requires the management of egos and their constant demands for
attention and recognition not always warranted. Team building is both an art and a
science and the leader who can consistently build high performance teams is worth their
weight in gold.

See Opportunity in Everything

I have born in Azerbaijan a small nation living in a shores of Caspian sea by
embracing the immigrant mentality that accounts for 40% of Fortune 500
companies according to the Forbes magazine , which were founded by
immigrants and their children. Influenced by their cultural values, they had a

higher advantage in business and in life by being able to see opportunities

everywhere opportunities previously unseen and that others didnt see at all. I
have come across the artical about the Odilon Almeida in his recent interview for
Forbes magazine , Odilon Almeida CEO of Western Union (USA & Europe)
shared his perspective on characteristics that define this immigrant mentality
and how it influence his leadership role to this day.
Odilon Almeida:I hail from Sao Paulo, Brazil, and live in the US. For some, my
home country may be considered a remote part of the globe. Immaterial of where
you are from, immersing in diverse cultural and personal norms may sometimes
make it feel that accomplishing a task is impossible. However in my view,
impossible is not an absolute, and situations often require more time and a lot of
resilience.
*REFSix Characteristics Define 21st Century Leadership - Forbes

A leader is someone who has a certain amount of expertise in whatever industry he or

she is in, and they are willing and do share their experiance with those around them
through writing, speaking and taking action. In my point of view ,they are good at not
only sharing their lessons learned, expertise and insights, but also at teaching others
how to apply that so they dont make the same mistakes. A leader is trusted, holds
authority and is viewed as a credible person by those who follow. If I became a leader of
an organisation that I work or any other that I may I will deliver consistent value with
integrity and passion, that I learn to take responsibility for actions i do , and I always will

be willingly to go the extra kilometer. I will implement some changes that I strongly
believe will take me an extra mile ..

1.

I will become more trustworthy mentor then I am currently see in

my organisation

2.

I will provide special leadership information to a group members in

my organisation

3.

I definitely will develop a high sense of cultural sensitivity as we are

living in multicultural country

4.
5.

Moreover, I will encourage and empower all my teammates

Inspire every single day by leading with real purposes towards the

achievements of the company's vision

6.

I will do my best to be a role model for my managers and be a

charismatic face of the company

7.
8.

I will reduce meeting and instead will connect with dose i lead
I won't be scared of making or implementing changes into my

organisation
I have read many articles I have seen many leaders in the many organisations that
really scare to implement changes or adopt innovation into their companies ..which
leads company stay in the way it was born ..times are changing and the world is
developing so leaders must adopt changes ,globalisation and not be scared to walk
with it ..

Another point that I want to state it clearly is that some of the leaders are not
caring about their followers. Just because they are not leaders doesn't mean they
are idiots. They'll be able to tell if you're compassionate and genuinely concerned for
them. And if you're not, they'll chuck you off your pedestal. Remember who butters your
bread! I clearly experiencing it and definitely know that without followers , leaders have
no one to lead and are not a leader anymore.

Caring for followers is not the same as acquiescing to their desires.

Leaders supposed to lead .(hopefully) because leaders should know what's

best for the team; they may not. Just because someone disagrees with you
doesn't mean you have to give them what they want. Allow them to disagree with
you, listen to their argument, and let them know why you think the way you do.
Let them know you care, but are acting in the best way you see fit.
I dont care what expertise my current leader has, or what industry he has worked in;
these days, things are changing by the minute.
In order to maintain leadership level and expertise ability to teach people things that
will keep them from making the same mistakes that he done in my view leaders has
to stay on top of the changes that are happening around him or her , and be an absolute
example to the followers ..It also will help to impact on followers and on the situation .

Engagement
I also would care about my team, but will follow it up with my actions. I will Set forth a
good, caring example, and they'll fall in line.
For organization to grow, everyone has to get better. I reckon, this has nothing to do
with just boss being great -- I believe boss have to make the team great. Ideally, the
task will done and the team will say, "We did it!", not the boss exclaiming, "I did it!" as it
happens many times to me in my organisation It's about the whole of the group, not the
one.

If I became a leader of organisation I would grow team, I will to pay

attention to them. Forcing numbers and leaving them to figure out roles won't do
them justice. I will also get to know them on an individual level and commit to
them becoming more resourceful members of my group (what role do they fit
best in? What resources
could they use). Help them learn, help them grow, and help them
take the reins when my organisation needs back up.

Putting It All Together

It is about the entire team. The greatest leaders saw their role to an end, and
themselves, as an instrument of a deeper purpose; any glory, prestige, or wealth was a
side effect rather than a motivation. After all, nothing would get done with just the efforts
of one man. Or woman! (once I have read in a book)

I want to realize a vision, the most effective way to do it is not with

an army of drones; that army will only last as long as you do. For the most longlasting results, I will share my vision and let people adopt it as their own, and let
it spread like wildfire.

I am just think of it as the beginning of a chain reaction--once it's

begun, I can step away and it'll continue to happen without any effort of my
presence.

Here's another apt quote that I just learned -- this one from Lao

Tzu: "A leader is best when people barely know he exists. When his work is
done, his aim fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves."
