Financing a Flying Club Aircraft
You dont need a survey to tell you that the No. 1 reason people start or join a flying club is to make flying more affordable. The single biggest
expense a flying club will undertake in its formation or expansion is buying a plane. So how should you go about paying for an aircraft? The EAAs
Flying Club Manual recommends self-financing, especially for startups, but that isnt the best option for everyone. This webinar will cover topics in
financing including impact of aircraft selection on rates and loan amounts, financing a build or restoration project, the process and documentation
requirements, and more!

DECEMBER 2015
FEBRUARY 2016
8:30 AM - 2:00 PM
The annual chapter 237 auction was last month and had some nice surprises in the lineup. Everything from model gyrocopters, to aviation
headsets, flights and other assorted certificates were offered! In addition were the normal books, plans (some serialized even), aviation
oil, aircraft spark plugs and new clothing items. No one was left hungry with an assortment of food and drink items at the auction. Some
great bidding wars arose and other items were a bargain. In the end the chapter raised a good profit from the event and a good time was
had by all who attended. Plan to attend next year if you missed out!
