INDIGENOUS PHD FELLOWSHIP APPLICATION

1.1 APPLICATION FLOW & DETAILS
Introduction
The online application facilitates a candidate who wants to apply for a scholarship for MS/MPhil or PhD
programs. Candidate can apply online by filling in the application form.
Access & Apply

Accessing HECs Eportal

1. Open Internet Explorer (v 9.0 or above), Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

2. In the URL area, enter following URL:
http://eportal.hec.gov.pk
3. A login screen will appear.

4. Already registered users can login directly. New users can create an account by clicking the Register
link which will open up the following screen:

5. If the password is forgotten, then applicant can use the Forget Password link to recover the password.

6. After logging in, an applicant needs to complete his/her common profile before accessing the
Indigenous Scholarship Form.

7. Filling in the following tabs are mandatory:

a. Personal Information
b. Contact Information
c. Educational Information
8. Rest of the tabs (Employment, Research, Skills and References) must be filled only if they are
applicable.

1. After completing the common profile; Indigenous PhD. Fellowship Program tab can be accessed
from the left menu, under the Scholarship and Grants.
2. By clicking on the application form, the form will be loaded on the right pane.

3. Following is the sequence of tabs that need to be filled in:

4. All the educational records must be selected to ensure that the score is calculated correctly. Though
only one degree for bachelors and one degree for masters can be selected in case of multiple bachelors
and masters.

5. Please take print of the application form and post it to HEC with all the required documents.
6. The application submission process is now complete.

Account Settings

After you are done submitting the application, please take out some time to verify your details on the Account
information tab. If your primary email address or cell number has changed, then please update it.
