AMERICA RISING SQUARED (AR2) NAMES BRIAN ROGERS

NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

ARLINGTON, VA America Rising Squared (AR2), an issues-based 501(c)(4)
organization dedicated to promoting conservative policies through cutting-edge research,
today announced veteran communications strategist Brian Rogers as its new Executive
Director.
Rogers most recently served as Communications Director to U.S. Senator John McCain
(R-AZ), and previously served as Deputy Communications Director and Research
Director on Senator McCain's 2008 presidential campaign, and has held senior research
positions on multiple statewide campaigns and at the Republican National Committee.
I'm excited to lead AR2s fight to provide the American public with the facts about
liberal policies and to hold their political networks accountable, said AR2 Executive
Director Brian Rogers. From a failed foreign policy that has resulted in chaos and
terror around the world, to an aggressive assault on the free enterprise system by labor
unions and environmental activists, winning the policy debate today is vitally important
to securing Americas future. AR2 will help drive the conversation by weaponizing the
facts about the most important issues facing our nation.
AR2 is a unique platform for in-depth research, targeted communications of points of
view not currently heard in the issues debate, and long-term projects impacting public
policy. AR2 combines issues research, field research, investigative research, rapid
response to key developments in the issues debate, a war room to keep tabs on
developments in that debate, and targeted communications to explain positions often
ignored in the national discussion over key public policies. AR2s website is:
www.arsquared.org.
Since its launch this past July, AR2 has focused on several key policy issues, including
organized labors $80 million Fight for $15 campaign to add millions of new duespaying union members at the cost of millions of American jobs. AR2 has also engaged in
the debate over the disastrous nuclear deal with Iran, the role of big-money
environmentalists in stopping the Keystone XL pipeline, the continued failure of
ObamaCare, and other important issues.
Today, AR2 will release an interactive map and research report highlighting the closure of
health care co-ops created under ObamaCare in 12 states across America over the last

year more than half of all co-ops created under the 2010 health care reform law. These
failures could amount to a loss of some $1 billion in federal loans, disrupt the heath
insurance of 740,000 individuals and small businesses, and leave consumers with fewer
choices and higher prices exactly the opposite of what was promised by ObamaCare
advocates.
AR2 also launched a state-based chapter, called Missouri Rising, this past July. Like
AR2, Missouri Rising is a 501(c)(4) organization focusing on the issues most pressing to
Missourians by investigating and holding liberal groups accountable, fact-checking
liberal policy initiatives, and making sure citizens have the most up-to-date information
to help drive the conversation in the Show Me State. Information on Missouri Rising can
be found here.
Both groups will be spearheaded by Rogers, who will serve as Executive Director. In
addition, Natalie Gillam will serve as deputy communications director and research
director:
