conduccin de fluidos por gravedad o a
presin han sido fabricadas de materiales
rgidos como acero, concreto o hierro.
En las ltimas dcadas, gracias al desarrollo de
los materiales polimricos, aparecen los tubos
flexibles hechos de materiales
termoplsticos.

-Los tubos ADS usan el negro de humo como aditivo protector UV.
Por lo que, resisten el efecto de los rayos ultravioleta del sol.
- Para su almacenamiento no requiere ser techado como en el caso
de las tuberas de PVC, esto genera ahorros en la obra.

RESINA
La materia prima con la que se fabrica la tubera es la resina de
polietileno (PE), este polmero ha experimentado mejoras a travs
de los aos.
Desde la primera generacin, con la denominacin PE 63, luego la
segunda generacin PE 80 (PE 3408 en ASTM) y finalmente la
tercera PE 100 (PE 4710 en ASTM), estas mejoras se han basado en
cambios en su estructura molecular lo que permiti aumentar las
caractersticas fsicas y mecnicas del tubo.

Los parmetros de soldadura a tope son:
Presin, Temperatura y Tiempo. Es
imprescindible cumplir con estos
parmetros definidos si queremos obtener
una soldadura fiable y duradera.
Procedimiento
Verificar alineamiento de
tuberas (de existir un
des alineamiento, este
deber ser de mximo
0.1 e = 10% del espesor
de pared).
Limpiar la superficies
exteriores e interiores
prxima a los puntos a
soldarse, (virutas, polvo
y grasa).
Observar los parmetros
de soldadura necesarios,
en el proceso.

Mtodos no destructivos
Inspeccin visual del bordn de soldadura (mtodo comnmente
utilizado)
La inspeccin visual es muy valiosa y sirve para detectar algunos
defectos, como desalineacin, poros o inclusiones, errores en los
parmetros de soldadura.
(Hay otros mtodos ms complejos y no tan comunes que se
realizan por ultrasonidos, rayos X, radiografa, termografa, etc)

Inspeccin visual
La inspeccin visual consiste sencillamente en examinar
detenidamente la unin de los tubos resultante de todo el proceso de
soldadura tope.
Ensayos Destructivos
Para las pruebas de muestras de fusin de tuberas de HDPE se
debern extraer tres probetas equidistante a 120, cuyas
dimensiones deben ser en largo 15 veces por cada lado de la
soldadura del espesor de la tubera, ancho 1.5 veces el espesor
de la tubera para prueba de doblez; de las tres probetas, una se
someter a doblez externa, otra para doblez interno y la ltima
ser para prueba de traccin segn lo requiera el proyecto. Para
prueba de traccin esta debe ser enviada a un laboratorio
competente para su ensayo. El doblez de cada probeta debe de
presentar que los extremos se mantengan a 180.

Caudal
Caudal-En dinmica de fluidos, caudales la cantidad de fluido
que avanza en una unidad de tiempo. Se denomina tambin
caudal volumtrico o ndice de flujo fluido, y que puede ser
expresado en masa o en volumen. Para el clculo de caudal en
una tubera de seccin llena, se utiliza la frmula de HazenWilliam que tiene la siguiente expresin:
Donde:
Q = Caudal flujo volumtrico en [m/s].
D = Dimetro interior en [m]
S = [Pendiente -Prdida de carga por unidad de longitud del
conducto [m/m].
C = Coeficiente que depende de la rugosidad del tubo (150
para tubos deHDPE).

Prdida de Carga
La prdida de carga en una tubera o canal, es la
prdida de presin en un fluido debido a la friccin de
las partculas del fluido entre s y contra las paredes
de la tubera que las conduce. Las prdidas pueden ser
continuas, a lo largo de conductos regulares, o
accidentales o localizadas, debido a circunstancias
particulares, como un estrechamiento, un cambio de
direccin, la presencia de una vlvula, etc.
