Design

Brief Description: Consumer Vehicle Accessories &
Services is an IoT enabled telematics reference
design proof of concept from Intel, which comprises
of an In-Vehicle Telematics platform running on an
Intel Architecture based IoT gateway and a
compatible In-Vehicle Services Cloud Application
reference software. The proof of concept
demonstrates typical consumer telematics use
cases (can be extended for commercial fleets) that
can be implemented by aggregating various vehicle
sensor data real time and delivering corresponding
business insights & visualization of those data on the
cloud.

GDP. The Theft localisation solution helps identify
locations of losses and also helps rectify

branches of the feeder network and helps narrows
down suspicious customers who could be
investigated for meter bypass, tampering, etc

Brief Description: Generally, multiple household
consumers use different appliances simultaneously,
like water pumps, water heaters, washing machines
etc., that contribute to the morning peak on the power
grid. If consumers use nPlugs for such deferrable
loads, nPlugs can schedule individual appliances locally
such that the total load on the grid is evenly
distributed. Hence, it provides significant reduction in
the peak demand.It requires no communication
infrastructure nor any changes to the appliance or
grid. Existing appliances can be simply plugged into
nPlugs and the nPlugs into wall sockets. It leverages
implicit signals (voltage & frequency) that “flow”
through the electrical network to sense load and is
simple and inexpensive for end consumer use.
