VMware vSphere with P2V Migration Jumpstart

Overview
This consulting engagement provides an on-site proof-ofconcept configuration and knowledge transfer of VMware
ESX and VMware vCenter best practices, as well as
physical to virtual (P2V) migrations using VMware vCenter
Converter. This jumpstart adds physical to virtual migration
activities to the VMware vSphere workshop to maximize
your time and dollars.

Roles and Responsibilities

workshop, which includes installation, and best practices
for configuration, administration and ongoing
infrastructure management
Customer Project Manager: Plans and coordinates all
jumpstart-related IT functions
Customer Systems Administrator: Responsible for server
hardware, storage, and networking
Customer Server Administrator: Responsible for
operating system and applications
