Pollinate Energy is a social enterprise that is creating inroads to Indias poor urban markets by providing poor
households access to sustainable goods, such as solar home lighting systems and clean cookstoves.
Worked side-by-side with sales force and identified accountability flaws in the businesss sales methodology;
determined the incentive model was skewed to favor the sales of an initial installment, not on follow-up collections.
Developed a sustainable business model based on the companys balance statement using Microsoft Excel.
Added operational controls, e.g. carbon copy handbook and inventory record, to improve efficiency of sales process.
Established a working model for the company to expand into other markets, including Nagpur and Kolkata.
Researched social issues in Kolkata, and with my anecdotal data, the company is looking to expand there today.
