STI TALENT SEARCH 2014 (LOCAL LEVEL) COMPETITION


A day of social competitions on STI Singing Idol, Battle of the Bands and Hataw Sayaw Local Level
SAO, SSG, School Admin
The Talent Search aims to discover an STI Idol in the field of Singing. An STI Singing Idol should
possess good voice quality, great performing skills and star quality which translates to being the best
singing ambassador of STI
This event seeks to find out an STI Dance Team Ambassador. An STI Dance Team ambassador is
energetic, possesses great dancing prowess, great performing skills and has star quality which
translate to being the best dance ambassador of STI
This event seeks to find out the best band in the STI Network that spells Entertainment with a
capital E! The bands individual members should be masters of their own craft may it be playing the
lead guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, drums or singing the vocals. The band should possess great
performing skills and should sound as one when performing. Lastly, the band should possess star
quality which translates to being the best Entertainers of the STI Network.
Our school will be represented well by our contestants.

Battle of the Bands contestants are strictly required to be at the backstage as early as 1P.M.
for their sound check. The contestants will be allowed just five minutes for their sound check.
For bands that will be late for the sound check we will not allow any band that will arrive at
1 PM to have a sound check anymore. As contestants it is their duty to be on time for the
sound check.
For the "STl Singing ldol" and "Hataw sayaw'' competitions, kindly assign a representative to hold on to the CDs
that will be used by your contestants. This representative must be ready to submit these CDs to the sound
coordinator before the actual performance of the contestants. Kindly label all CDs properly and list down the
songs that are included in it so that we can determine the sequence of the songs. It must already be properly cued
to the actual music that will be used by your contestants. CDs not on cue and defective CDs cause delay to the
program, thus, you are advised to kindly check and test again and again your musical accompaniment. Please
bring backup CDs.
Required Material for Musical Accompaniment
Contestants for the singing and dancing competition are advised to brin8 their musical
accompaniment on the event day. This will allow us to avoid any delays and technical problems
on the day of the competitions. Kindly label your CDs. Please be informed that we will allow
materials on CD copy only. No other form of materials will be allowed.
