This user manual is designed purposefully to guide you step-by-step to understand our general admission requirements, register
your profile correctly as an applicant and upload/manage your admission documents.
How to get started with Sknadsweb

2. New applicants & old students: Log in as international applicant (Login for users without Norwegian National
Identification Number)
Current students: Please use Feide to log in with your email username and password. You can order a new password if you
have forgotten your old one by clicking on I forgot my password.
4. New applicants: Click on Next if you are first-time user or did not register your email before in Sknadsweb.
NB! Please do not register with an alternative email if you are already registered in the system with another email.
5. New applicants: Choose No, I am not a Nordic citizen if you are coming from a non-Nordic country (Denmark, Iceland,
Finland and Sweden) and click on Next to proceed.
6. New applicants: In order to avoid confusion and delay caused by duplicate applications, we urge you to answer carefully this
question: Are you or have you been a student at UiT? before clicking on Next.
7. New applicants: It is very important for returning students (whether exchange or regular) to answer carefully this question:
Have you applied to UiT admission in the fall semester of 2013 or later? before clicking on Next.

9. An email with instructions and containing your automatically generated password will be sent to you. You can change this
temporary password later.

10. Use your email and the automatically generated password to log into the Sknadsweb and click on Log in.

11. Make sure to register your address correctly. Please use street name, street number, phone number and zip/city code in the
right areas. You can also choose your own password here.

4- New application: To start your application, click on Studies at Campus Narvik and select the study programme you
want to apply for.

Start selecting your programme. Make sure always to click on OK-Save. If you have an important message for us, please use the
field Extra information.

Receipt page: you will be directly to this page after you have clicked on OK-Save

Start uploading your document! You can always access this page by clicking on My documents. This page will allow you to add
new documents or delete old ones. Make sure to upload your documents in PDF-format.

Education: Upload only academic credentials here. Write the name of your institution correctly and make sure that the name of
your PDF-file matches the Description. Please do not write unnecessary information.

Other documents such as CV, Reference letter and Statement of prupose should be uploaded here.

My documents: Remember always to manage your documents here by uploading new documents or deleting existing ones.

My applications: Here you can manage your applications by adding a new programme or by deleting an existing one.
