1 PLAY DATA

Once a cutup or video folder is opened for viewing, a list of plays appears on the

bottom of the screen. At any time you can select a new play and immediately view it.

Select the Full Screen button to view the selected plays. You can use your USB
remote or mouse to control the video.
To exit the full-screen video mode press the Esc button on the keyboard. If you have
3 a DSV Remote, press the Full button to toggle between full-screen mode and the
opening presentation mode.

To access the Full Screen with Data, check the With Data box on the opening screen
and click the Full Screen icon. This view will show the data at the bottom of the
screen and static overlays from a configured overlay at the top.

When using the mouse controls, place the mouse at the top, in the black area of the
3 screen to control the video with the mouse buttons. See the Mouse Remote page
for detailed information.
To select plays for trimming, click the Angle or DSV button on the remote. If you
4 click the Angle button again on the same play it will not take the check away. You can
also use the mouse.

To access the Full Screen with no Data, check No Data box on the opening screen
1 and click the Full Screen icon. This view will show the overlay at the top of the
screen for the first five seconds of the video, then disappear.

You can adjust your custom Overlay in the opening screen by selecting one from the
dropdown menus.

When using the mouse controls, place the mouse at the top, on the red “R” to

detailed information.

To view the game in game order ODK click on the top level folder. Data will not

appear at the bottom of the video.
If data has been entered, one can view the plays that have been broken down. Team

names are setup as the Offensive Team for the cutup and data.
For ODK video cutups, click on the Offense, Defense or Kicking Options. Data will not
5
appear at the bottom of the video.
If the ODK data contains Run/Pass and individual special teams plays one can click
6
and open those selections as well. Data will not appear at the bottom of the video.
To load multiple cutups all an one time, hold down the control key on the keyboard
7 and begin opening cutups. Each subsequent cutup will be added to the bottom of
the list.
USER CREATED CUTUPS LIST

1 To activate click on the Cutups Icon.

To open a folder, click on the [+] symbol or double click. To close a folder click on
the [-].
3 To Delete a cutup, highlight the cutup and click on the Delete Button.

4 To open a cutup to view, double click on the cutup from the list.

Load the cutup or cutups with data to apply to the report. Hold down the control

key on the keyboard and open multiple cutups to load multiple cutups at once.

To open a report double click on the report name, or click on the [+] symbol to
open a group of variants for that report.

Some custom report have layouts that can be set. Use the Save button to layout of

data to appear.
6 Click on the Full Screen button to expand and contract the report view.

7 Use the arrow buttons to advance to the next and previous pages of the report.
8 Print the report or save the report pages out to graphic files as well.
SORTING CUTUP DATA

A-Z and Z-A: Right click on one column header at a time and select A-Z or Z-A to sort
the information included within that column. Once a column has been sorted it will
lock in the information sorted and its order for that column. The if another A-Z or Z-
1 A sort is applied it will sort from within the first selected columns data. An example
of this would be sorting Down 1 – 4, then Distance as 99 to 1. If down is selected
first and sorted as 1st down thru 4th, those items will be locked in for the second sort
of the distance.
Frequency Sort: Select multiple column in the order of the sorting by left clicking
and making the column header(s) red. Once all columns are selected and the proper
2 order selected, right click on the final column and select Frequency. The result will
be the data being sorted via frequency starting with the first selected column then
each subsequent ones.
Drill Down: Right click any column and select the data to filter down to. Continue to
3 filter down until the cutup is set correctly. To go back to the original cutup and it
entirety, click on Reset to put the cutup back.

1 Click the Layout Design button to allow the choice of what data columns will appear.
Uncheck All and choose the desired columns of data. The data columns will

rearrange leaving only the desired columns of data.
Columns can also be highlighted and dragged horizontally to the desired location

with click and drag functions.
Click the Data Layout button to save the layout under the current name, save as a
4
new layout, or open an already save layout.
Layouts can be save to the Local database login, or if networked, saved for use by all
5
on the network.
On a Network Database setup the layouts are saved on the network
!
and independently from the Offensive and Defensive logins.
DRAG AND DROP ROWS

1 Highlight the single clip you want to move, left click and highlight the Row.
Click on the highlighted row again, and drag the clipboard until the 2 dark lines are

over the clip at the desired location.
Release the left mouse button and the clip will be placed above of the clip with the

2 bold lines.
To move multiple clips, highlight the clips by left clicking as you hold down the
4 Control Key. You can also use the Shift Key to select a range of clips from Top to
Bottom.
Holding down the left key, drag the clipboard until the 2 dark lines are over the clip
5
at the desired location. Release the Mouse to drop the rows in place.

If the clips to be moved are not such that they can be moved by highlighting
! and dragging, then highlight the clip(s) and us the arrow keys to move to the
desired location. Once there, click the Enter Key to complete the move.

By holding the left mouse key and dragging over an existing cutup the selected clips

will be added to the bottom of the existing cutup.
By holding the left mouse key and dragging over an existing folder you will be

prompted to create a new cutup and name it.

Begin by opening the Presentation

Double Click on a cutup bin to open
the Cutups List. Browse or create a
2 new cutup and highlight the cutup. 2
Click “OK” and the bin will be
assigned to the cutup.
Highlight a Row or Rows and hold
down the left mouse button.

Ctrl+Click and Shift+Click will allow
you to highlight multiple rows.
Drag the Row(s) into the cutup bin
and release the mouse. The Rows
4 will be added to the bottom of the
list automatically. The notepad icon
will appear when dragging.

Cutups can be stored three

to open cutups.
Games have cutups

to populate the list.
INSERTING SLIDES INTO CUTUPS

1 Highlight the clip where the slide will be inserted in front of.
2 Click the camera .
3 Choose Insert Slide(s) In Cutup.
Insert one slide by double clicking the slide or, select the first slide, hold down the

‘Shift’ key, select the last slide, press enter and this will insert all slides.
To place slides in the cutup, highlight the slide, left click, and drag to desired position
5
in cutup.
6 Press the Save Button and the cutup is saved under the current name.
Click the Select All Button, the Scissors choose the cutup from the Cutups

List….then either add to or replace the current cutup.
CREATING VOICEOVER CUTUPS

To be able to use the Voiceover feature one must have a DSV Remote
connected to the machine for the icon to appear.

Presort and load the correct cutup for the presentation. If a particular
2 angle is needed, uncheck the unnecessary angles from the full screen
options. Click on the Microphone Icon to begin.
Make sure that your microphone is on and working properly. Click OK
3
on the pop up screen if you are sure its working. The microphone
icon will turn red to represent that its in recording mode.
Use the remote to Rewind and Fast forward the video while speaking.
4 Use the drawing tools is permitted as well. The Slow Rew and Slow
FD will be disabled once you begin recording.
To go to the next play click on the “Next” button on the remote. The
5 video clip you were just on will start rendering while the next play
loads.
Once complete, click on the red microphone to end the recording
6
session.

Select the folder to save the voiceover cutup to and select New
Cutup and name the cutup.

Voiceover cutups are visible and available by clicking


on the Voiceover button from the slider options.
MOUSE / HOTKEY REMOTE
To get the mouse to work in Full Screen Modes, place the mouse over the red “R”.
When that option is not available, place the mouse into a blue area.

O D K Buttons:
While in the ODK screen you can tag Offense, Defense, and Kicking with the buttons
that line up with the ODK marked on the remote. Older remotes also have this ability
though not labeled on the remote itself.
