Acclaimed Top Chef Alumna Opens World-Class Dining Experience Above
Downtown Miami

MIAMI, Fla. (February 24, 2014) Brazilian-born, Italian Top Chef star and foodie
favorite Carla Pellegrino is excited to introduce Touch Rooftop Lounge &
Restaurant. Launching April 3rd, Touch is centrally located in the heart of
Downtown Miamis Arts & Entertainment District. Poised to be the most coveted seat
in the city, Pellegrinos Touch features an array of dishes ranging from Classic
Meatballs and Beef Carpaccio to pastas such as Lobster Fra Divola and Asparagus
Risotto. Main dishes including Colorado Lamb Lollipops; Red Snapper with Gaeta
Olives, Teardrop Tomatoes and Caperberries; and Salmon Harissa. The menu will also
include sushi and sashimi including the Tropical Citrus Salmon Roll and Halibut
Usuzukirui Sashimi for those guests that would like a lighter option or would like to
share.
Located on the rooftop at 15 NE 11th Street in Miami, Touch accessible via
private elevator is a luxuriously designed 7,100-square-foot fine dining destination
that boasts breathtaking 360-degree views of the Miami skyline and indoor/outdoor
seating via a state-of-the-art retractable roof. The intimate 50-seat indoor dining
room features an open kitchen where Chef Carla will oversee her culinary team. The
225-seat outdoor lounge includes design highlights such as a waterfall wall, fire pits
and a communal table and bar for guests to mingle. Included in the open-air rooftop
lounge is a destination that will highlight, DJs, live music and LED screens.
Born in Rio de Janeiro to a Portuguese father and a second-generation Italian mother,
Chef Carla Pellegrino was formally trained at New Yorks French Culinary Institute and
has worked as an award-winning chef in New York and Las Vegas for more than 10
years. One of the most prominent female chefs on the culinary scene today, she has
also appeared on Bravos Top Chef and is a VIP member of the James Beard
Foundation. The renowned chef also launched NYCs critically-acclaimed Baldoria and
Vegas culinary hotspots Meatball Spot, Bacio and RAOs Las Vegas at Caesars Palace.
Im looking forward to launching in the heart of Miami and catering to both the
