LMS Test.Lab Signal Calculator

[TL-GPR.51.2]
The LMS Test.Lab Time Signal Calculator Workbook is a
member of the LMS Test.Lab General Purpose Processing
product family. The calculator processes time data in a userfriendly and efficient way, and not only allows a userinteractive mode of operation, but it is also possible to fit the
calculator in the measurement flow, such that immediately
after the acquisition, additional calculated time traces will be
available. In case the Data Set contains multiple runs, then all
defined operations will be executed in batch mode for each of
the runs.
The Time Signal Calculator includes the Time Data Selection
worksheet and benefits from all functionality offered by this
worksheet (manual or automatic visualization of time data via
powerful stripchart displays, overview or detailed
visualization, segment selection, quick spectral map for
inspection of frequency content, support of different data
types such as LMS TDF, SDF, ).
Calculations can be defined using PointIds or Trace Ids.
PointIds provide maximum flexibility for cabling while
guaranteeing that the correct results are obtained. TraceIds
allow to speed up the definition of formulas. Formulas are
verified for their syntax, and can be saved for later reuse.
Possible calculations include arithmetic operations, fixed
resampling, filtering, Tacho-to-rpm conversion, weighting,
integration/differentiation etc. Calculations can be done on
user-definable segments or on the complete trace. Results
can be added to the original run, or can be saved separately.
The processing workbook addresses the needs for time
domain processing in the signature testing process : easy
operation, application focus, user-interactive and open to inprocess automation.

Key benefits
Efficient and user-intuitive time
data processing
Support of multiple data types
(LMS TDF, SDF, Pimento, )
