PMP-certified Project Manager with more than 20 years of experience in Fortune 100 and small businesses that includes
start-up and post chapter 11 companies. I am a highly organized, detail-oriented and self-directed individual who enjoys
solving problems. My strengths include an in-depth understanding of the relationship between contract requirements and
how they fit within business processes as well as the ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.

RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Tangible results demonstrated in project planning; budgeting and analysis; risk mitigation; contract management and
compliance, as well as a track record for achieving or exceeding goals and objectives.

Applied earned value principles to monitor progress and identify schedule and budget risks. This effort resulted in the
complete fulfillment of both the Department of Energys (DOE) stringent and exhaustive grant requirements and investor
expectations.

Implemented zero-sum budgeting to manage costs for a $60M project by proactively identifying potential cost overruns and
working with internal project and functional leadership to identify and implement solutions. The project budget was
maintained and there was no use of the projects $2.3M contingency.

Developed and implemented model to track $60M project spending to enable federal, state and internal reporting which
encompassed three distinct budgets with unique spending classification methods. The detailed tracking model also enabled
funding at the component versus completed unit level reducing the need for equity investment from the parent company.

Instituted continuous improvement practices reducing time to prepare federal funding invoices from 7 days to 3 days and
increasing accuracy resulting in quicker receipt of funds and less cost due to fewer questions from DOEs legal representative
and the lenders engineer as well as less use of internal resources.
