1. PROJECT
The Project is based in a production of 5.850 tons of net chicken per year. 20% of that will be sold
butchered and the rest will be sold as a complete chicken.
The production starts with the Budget of fertile eggs and the location of incubators in te property.
We will Guild 27 farms with high technology Systems and 1440 net square meters with a capacity
between 50.000 and 55.000kg of alive chicken. With this we will have a production of 37.500kg of
meat (dead and empty) for farm and 112.500kg each week.
Slaughter house with a capacity of 2000 chickens/hour with the Halal Rite and installations to
butcher the 20% of the production
The refrigeration camera has a capacity for the production of two days.
There are not details of the commercialisation system.

1 Bucket elevator to receive 24Tn/h, 20 mts between drops, 5,5 Moto reducer with brake, 1
transmission with protection stair, visit platform in the high part and two in the middle as regulation,
distributor mount with rest floor, steel cable and tighteners for fixing (Pos.N1)

1 Distributor of 6 drops 160 with manual controller from down part, 5 girdle splices 160 and 42
mts 160 piping.

5 Central silos model 3800/5, capacity 64m3, total height 8.760mts aprox, mounted above 6 legs and
one metallic cone of 60, access stair to the ceiling with protection, ceiling register and respiration
nozzle. Made in galvanized cylindrical wave plates, and flat in cone and ceiling (pos. 2)

5 Augers 130 x 7 y 9 mts length, 3 y 4 Cv Motors with silos exit to the dosser scale with pulleys
protection, fallings (Pos. N 3)

1 Dosser scale of 1000 kgs with double bin mounted on 4 charge cells connected to a box that emits
one signal to the equipment with luminous numbers. This equipment is manual. (Pos. N 4)

1 Auger 160 x 6 metros, motor 4 Cv, exit scale to the bin wait mill.

1 Modular wait mill bin, capacity 1000 kgs, mounted on a decompressor bin. (Pos. N6)

1 Decompressor bin, 2,30 x 3 x 2,50 mts high with 65cone, stairs, protection mailing and inspection

2.- CARACTERSTICAS CONSTRUCTIVAS

2.1.- Platform (not included in the offer)


The owner should make one esplanade without vegetal layer, level out and
compact, where the building will be installed.
This platform must be elevated around 20 cm above the ground, to avoid the
humidity comes into the building.
Theres no problem to put the chicks directly on a well compacted ground,
avoiding the concrete.
All surface of the building must guarantee one weigh capacity of 2,5 kg/cm2.
Having on mind the possibility of use one special concrete if we find out plaster or
salts.

2.2.- PERIMETER SKIRTINGS (not included in the offer).


The perimeter skirtings (not included in the offer) should be once the supports
and lateral panels are fixed.
Its to strength the walls, in case the trucks or bulldozer hit them.

3.- STRUCTURE:

With porticos IP-140 and wood beams.

4.- EAVES
Two-pitched roof with lacquered sheet, with lateral eaves at 0,90mts. The sheets
will be fixed on the beams with screws and washers 6,30 x 110 mm.

5.- ISOLATION ( density of 40 mm.)


Under the roof, we will place the isolation with polyurethane panels.
The panels are with a density of 40 Kg/m3, both faces covered with an aluminum
layer used as steam barrier.

The width of the panels will be 1,20 mts male/female with PVC H profiles to
assemble them.
The isolation will be placed under the beams.
Thermal transmission is 0,40 kcal per m/2, hour and C.
From the inside the roof will be complete flat for a perfect cleaning and
disinfection.

6.- LATERAL ENCLOSURES AND GABLES:


Sandwich panels of 60 mm. wide, (prewash sheet and polyurethane inside of
40Kg/m3 density).
Thermal transmit ion will be 0,29 Kcal per m/2 and C.
Should be enough with 40 mm wide, but we need strong walls to fix Doors, thats
why we use 60 mm.

7.- WINDOWS:
30 PVC Windows model V-60 on the opposite side of the small fans for
minimum ventilation.
96 Windows, model V-60 too, in one side of the building, opposite of the big fans,
for the tunnel entrance, in hot seasons.
All windows have protection to avoid birds entrance.
2 motoreducer to open and close the windows, that allow the tunnel air entrance,
like the windows in one side of the farm. This motorreducers are automatic with
the computer, depending on the ventilation and refrigeration needs.

8.- DOORS, LATERAL DOORS, AND :


3 Lateral Doors 2 x 1 mts. Isolated with polyurethane, and both sides with
galvanized plates. Used for loading and unloading chicks.
1 Door 3 x 3,5 m. with the same finish like the others, to entry Cleaning machines
and manure transport.
1 Exterior warehouse 4x3 mts, with the same characteristics of the building, for
the computer, electric panel and medicines dosser.

AND 4/6 cm height, the pan doesnt move and it is more accessible due to its

Two propane gas generators, aprox 70Kw, that will be connected with the
computer receiving instructions.
Well study the possibility of use other fuel, depending on the situation.
The gas tanks or other fuel tanks are not included.

fingers with 8 fingers of rubber, with a total of 800 fingers plucking.

The plates rotate alternately clockwise and counterclockwise, so that all the plates spinning
in all directions over the body of the bird.
The movement is obtained with 8-phase electric motors 2 hp. 1000 r.p.m. each and flat
belts.
Each row of plates is adjustable in height and width and inclination, as well as horizontally
and vertically.

The foundation and infrastructure of reinforced concrete.


The foundations are laid down on wells of sufficient depth in a good area, with struts of fixings
to the walls of the basement on the basis of preliminary studies. The rate of soil
will work to clarify later.
The ground floor slabs are generally based on the terraces and on the bases or platforms
obtained filling and clearing debris.
The retaining walls will land on reinforced concrete piers to level and

Normal slabs on the terraces, sandy sloping shapes allow overload of 3 apportioned Ton/
m2 use with mobile charges in 5 ton trucks for the passage of which is justifiable for the
workplace. Overloading of use will be reduced to Ton/m2 for administrative buildings and
housing.
The courses in fine sand, soil insulation peripheral (local chillers and boilers).
In the slabs of the chillers and rapid freezing (if any allied industries in the future) will be
reinforced with concrete. The shape of the concrete will fill insulation below ground, rolling

Roof coverage.
A base insulating and sealing not passable.

the downpipes are hold to the insulation panels.

False ceilings.
Shall be a prepainted / galvanized, the same type of enclosure walls and
accessories will all end, angles, coronations, flashings, etc..

Cover accesories.
For ventilation of the ship was placed on the ridge ventilators static, so that lower
temperatures are achieved between indoor and ceiling.

INSULATIONS AND ISOTHERMAL DOORS

Isolated walls on positive temperature areas


The sandwich panel walls are prefabricated with interior polyurethane and 2 front in
galvanized and / or lacquered, all joints carefully sealed and antifungal; covers caulk

The interior and exterior coatings of the fast chillers and coatings are lacquered inside the
freezing chamber galvanized.
Safety valves restrict the lobbying efforts and depression due

Floor isolation.
Insulation thickness l6 cm. (frozen), with for-vapor type anti-vapor filter.

Isothermal doors.
The doors will be, as their use of categories or types:
Sliding doors: to ensure closure of the freezers, sliding doors should ensure good thermal
insulation, with FERMOD rails or similar type maneuver, and gaskets carefully installed to
ensure the sealing of the chamber, thickness of the door : 8 to 10 cm.
Type of lining: polyester.
To the gates of the chillers and storage of quick frozen, the insulation will be

The tiles are of the type-porcelain stoneware 50 x 50 cm. Parts placement skid with cement
mortar or tiles 10 x 20 cm. (according to
local). In offices and health areas inside the plant (at 50 x 50 cm.).

PAINTING.
The new metallic structures will remain as out of hot galvanized.

Painting on interior masonry.


The paintings will be studied to withstand the severe conditions with a
capacity of: sealing and resistance to jet washing, resistance to high humidity, application
odorless, antifungal treatment (mold).

Painting on exterior masonry.

These paintings must withstand weather conditions and carry:


A waterproof acrylic plastic sheet.
One sheet of matte painting.

INSTALLATIONS

TECHNICAL EQUIPMENTS

Cooling:
In the final project phase will be studied better equipment. All this depending on the
forecast of the allied industries.
The cooling needs to maintain the temperature in storage rooms, workrooms and rapid
cooling were estimated in the calculations of the project after knowing allied industries
and final sizing. Refrigerator production facility is secured with NH3 - 10 C / +35 C
distribution by pumping from a tank located in the engine room. The cooling concept of
production has been made in view of future increases in capacity, having been sized all
fixtures (collectors, evaporative condenser, reservoir, etc.).. In engine room valves are
planned in anticipation of additional joints with compressors that can be made in future to block
extension of the refrigerator.
Was chosen ammonia (NH3), considering the following criteria:
High Energy Efficiency
Need for significant cooling power
Cost of ammonia lower than other coolants.
Easier maintenance of the installation.
It is a gas that does not harm the ozone layer, so there are no problems for future bans.

The production of cold chambers negative temperature of allied industries, with cameras frozen,
freezing tunnels and numerous air-conditioned rooms and chambers are expected
to be independent from the rest and are estimated each of a group of autonomous
production bibloc R22 (to be defined in specific projects). As for the cameras and positive
temperature Boards of allied industries, is considered using the same network of the
slaughterhouse.
NH3/ glycol water and isolated lung deposit ensures the distribution of cold services.

groups condensed with the network of water-glycol

Production cooling
In the engine room, production of NH3 refrigeration at -10 C, is performed with screw
compressors that develop a total power (to be determined at the planning stage), with
automatic power on the basis of suction pressure. Also in this room are located: a
horizontal repairman equipped with safety accessories and regulation, four circulation
pumps to distribute the NH3 for different chambers and rooms (there is an emergency
pump). There is also an evaporative condenser equipped with centrifugal fans, installed
near the engine room to cool the hot gas returning from the refrigeration compressors.

A cabinet centralizes all controls, protections, regulations and signs of cooling
output. Contains a programmable controller that can regulate the production and the
centralization of services, faults and alarms throughout the facility. A printer produces all
occurrences of the installation.
The heat and humidity of every room, are recorded automatically.

Ventilation of the engine room.


A room thermostat and a detector of ammonia regulate the ventilation of
the room. There is an extraction tower explosion-proof motor, with a knob outside
the room, and an emergency stop device leaves tension cables all the engine
room. The entire ventilation system, complies with NFE 35,400.

Equipment rooms
All evaporators have double bottom tank anti-condensation, batteries, snorkel and fins in
hot dip galvanized steel in the circuit of NH3.
In the workrooms, the fan speed of the evaporator is 950 rpm to avoid bothering the staff
with too much airflow.
Each room has a station control valves, a thermostat, and a box containing all control
devices (thermostat, switch demand from fans on a forced march or strike, etc.).
All pipes are seamless drawn steel insulated with injected polyurethane coated isoxal, and piping
hot gas and rock wool isoxal finish.
All piping and valve stations, go through the gallery of services, on the ceiling.
The defrosting of rooms with temperature exceeding +2 C, automatic hot gas and
regulated by the automaton. Defrost appliances with above +4 C is by air.
The rapid cooling, is equipped in the 1st and 2nd sections with vertical fins batteries and
galvanized steel tubes and axial fans in the ceiling. Each battery has its own tube station, and
alternating defrost during operation of the airing, returning the cooling capacity of the
battery out of the running.

OPTION:
Energy recovery in refrigeration plant:
An energy recovery can be effected in the condensation and return of the hot gases from the
refrigeration compressors. The components of the energy recovery system shall be established
to ensure a maximum instantaneous peak debit hot water 2 x 15 m3 / h up to full power the
refrigeration plant, allowing warm water of 12 C to 39 C approximately.

Plumbing and ventilation.
A. Production of industrial hot water at 65 and 90C

The final study will define the investment needs of cogeneration and its volume.
Daily consumption of industrial hot water, is estimated at 155 m3 to 65 C and 40 m3 to
90 C per day massacre tip.
Thiswater production is ensured by a vertical tank outside pressure, able to 2 x 30 m at
65 C and 90 C. This production is ensured by installing cogeneration equipment and
emergency generator steam.
The hot water is stored in a reservoir at 92 C.
This material hot water production has been chosen for their high energy efficiency (about
95%)
The deposit ensures the production of hot water to pass the slaughterhouse
or the industry to double its capacity, if in the future was needed.

Maintenance of temperature in the scalding of chickens


The scalding of chickens barrel is heated and maintained by direct steam injection
controlled to maintain the same water temperature. Steam is generated in a boiler of
500 kg / h, equipped with a gas or diesel burner stove and a food. The distribution of the
vapor pressure is 8 bar.
Natural Gas Supply
Since the gas meter located at the boundary of the estate (if there is the possibility of
having the supply), the gas is led through a pipe of HDPE to the power plant (industrial
hot water), and the equipment slaughterhouse in need (ventilation fan heaters), finding
its way safety valves.
Cutting the connection to the national gas network, has
not been recorded in the preliminary estimate.

B. Plumbing
Water treatment at reception
Metering pumps are foreseen, softener, anti-corrosion treatment for the water that feeds the
network of industrial hot water, steam boiler and evaporative condenser refrigeration plant.

The washing stations are supplied with hot and cold water at 65 C, and have a tube of 20 m.
flexible rubber food grade white armed with spear and washed with a box of steel
304 L
The pipes used for the circuits of AF, ACI 65 and AC, are galvanized steel, and the ACI 90th
Circuit in stainless steel. The gas and steam circuits are black steel, and the ACS
circuit using copper pipe tempered.
For the circuit of AC in the vicinity of the important demands (such as pneumatic guns),
buffer tanks are installed.
The pipe insulation is made from rock wool covered with isoxal, and exterior galleries and
services, are protected from ice with heating cords.
Recirculation loops are projected on the main collectors of ACI 65 th and 90 th to get
hot water quickly at the furthermost points of production. The leads are kept warm with
electric resistance self-regulantes. Sterilizers have water at 90 C. Valves are planned
connection if in the future is to expand the slaughterhouse or industry.

Medical Supplies
For each block health, an ACS circuit 35C to the feeding. The locker room sinks and work areas
will be held non-manual and office area will be hand mixer mixer.
Showers and toilets will be installed white, with joint network of copper pipes.

C. Compressed air
It is produced with 2 screw compressors 300 m3 / h of flow at a pressure of 8 bars
with refrigeration dryer, l.500-liter tank air filter before distribution.

D. Ventilation
The slaughter halls, local tripe and washing shall be ventilated to prevent fog,
condensation and odors.
The ventilation fan heaters have new air intakes on the roof with motorized baffles, filters,
centrifugal fans and natural gas burners.
In the textile sleeves for the ventilation of workplaces, the air velocity is 2 to 7 m / s
order not to inconvenience the staff.
Some places are in slight depression to prevent the spread of odors and condensation to
adjacent chambers.

Hall of slaughter:

Installation:

A centrifugal air heater in each hall with natural gas burner and beam blow with aluminum
bars.
Chimneys extraction on areas of condensation and remove smells.
These areas, as mentioned above, will be in slight depression.
The air renewal rate is 12 to 15 volumes / hour.

Dressing rooms and sanitary

These areas will have mechanical exhaust ventilation.


Dining
A centrifugal air heater installed art gallery, with electric battery, a sleeve vent and aluminum
grilles, extraction tower roof equipped with a network of technical gallery extraction grids. Air
renewal rate, 4 to 5 volumes / hour, about depression for adjoining
areas.

Technical gallery
This is the space above the false ceiling, which are installed the piping network. It will be a
ventilated area to avoid condensation and calories detached by the ventilation fan heaters.
Exhaust chimneys on the ceiling will be provided with thermostatic control and humidity.
Air renewal rate, 4 to 6 volumes per hour.
Technical rooms
The boiler and general low voltage (MLVS), aired by mechanical air extraction (with
chimneys on roof), regulated by thermostat. The rate of renewal of air in the boiler is 20
to 25 volumes / hour, and the MLVS 3 to 4 volumes per hour.

E. Wash System low pressure foam to 20/25 bar


It proposes an optional foam washing system at low pressure.
A fixed center and several satellites spread around the abattoir, 4 mobile flexible sleeve
roll holder. Network of water distribution pipes in galvanized steel. 11 compressed air
distribution feeders at each point and central laundry.
Technical gallery pipes, are heated with electric heating elements to maintain the
temperature. The downspout pipe that feed the plant and satellites will be in stainless steel
304 L.
This washing installation allows simultaneous operation of 4 washing lances l.500 l / h.

A. Transformer MV / LV
The transformer MV / LV is prefabricated type and will be located at the boundary of the property.
It is connected to the medium voltage network (the cost of connection to the MT network have not
been counted in this study).
The power transformer will be 1,250 KVA considering this is sufficient for the needs of
the slaughterhouse even after a possible expansion of capacity.

B. C.G.B.T. (Low Voltage General Schedule)


From C.G.B.T. located in the technical rooms, feed the various main electrical panels, and from
these, the points of use.

Distribution
The principle of distribution of this facility is the type scheme in TT 3 x 380 V, the first
outage fault isolation.
The ground network consists of a non-insulated copper conductor buried.
D. Switchboards
Shall consist of prefabricated metal cells. The protection index of these boxes depends
on the installation. In damp, cables and boxes shall be protected in waterproof polyester
(555 IP minimum).

E. Electrical Wiring
The cables move through appropriate tubing hot dip galvanized steel, technical and gallery
located in maintenance areas, and PVC in the work rooms and chambers. Have been
extensively dimensioned to allow a further extension of 30%.
The cables used are of the type:
ARO 1000 V 2 V for large sections (aluminum wire).
V 1000 RO 2 V for all distributions (copper wire). All
the remote machine made in 24 V.
Each leg of motive power and lighting will all protected by circuit breakers tripolar or bipolar, as
the case and following the rules in force, and marked with the corresponding engraved plates.
The rate of protection as the rest of electrical equipment is IP 555.

Streetlights will be placed in parking areas, washing cattle trucks and refrigerated trucks.

G. Electric Heating
In offices in the yards, will be placed thermostat electric convectors. In administration and
dressing rooms, the heating will be mixed (base + support), the heating base is through heating
cables under the pavement, with operation in hours of reduced fee, and is
supported by electric convector with thermostat.
In negative local temperature, freeze-avoiding soil heating cables under the pavement.

OFFER ACCORDING TO THE DRAWING

Building according to the drawing, (phases from 1 to 12), we estimate a cost of


1.500.000. This building can be built under the direction of the property GEI-2A, or it can be
hired like a turn key contract.
Cooling equipment including cameras (phases from 21 to 26), electricity and telephony for
all the building, we calculate an aproximate cost of 600.000 , in the same way, this can be hired
under the direction of the property GEI-2A, or it can be hired like a turn key contract.
Process machines, mentioned in phases from 31 to 47, including electric generator have
a value of 1.100.000, depending always on the details of the signed contract.
Transport phases and management direction can have an aproximate cost of 100.000.

COMMENTS OF SLAUGHTERHOUSE

Comment: The slaughterhouse is the part of production that has been changing from the
initial offers.
Variations are caused for the posibility to multiply the production by four, the posibility of the
butcher the 20% of the production, because we have to this country with a high technology
product.
According to the machines, we included dry area, clasification, butcher area, packing, etc.
We also thought about the transport of intestinal remainder, transport and treatment of
blood and collection of scraps.
We added to the offer two cameras inside the slaughter house to make easier the transport of
the meat.
The slaughterhouse has been designed to make easy the future extension, using the same
areas to charge and discharge, obviously, this has an economic repercussion from the initial
project.
Anyways, if this project goes on, our collaborators and engineers will study with the property
every detail of the slaughter house, wich will be the final image of the production line of the
chicken meat.

The numbers are approximate; they can have variations depending on the distance
between the buildings of production and distribution. The feed distribution, chicken distribution
from the incubator, broilers distribution to the slaughter, included distribution of the final product,
change depending of the distances.
The UPP of 3 farms can work with only one person if the chicks are inside. The work is to
take care of the chicks and pick up the dead ones. When the buildings are empty, this person
can be on vacations. But there are moments that this person is going to need help; when cleaning
the farms or prepare the buildings for a new chicks entrance. Thats why we talk about 1,2
persons. This second one could be some person of his/her family, or one for the different UPP.
