Analysis of various software testing principles and

strategies
ABSTRACT

Software testing is an investigation conducted to provide stakeholders with information about the quality of
the product or service under test. Software testing can also provide an objective, independent view of the
software to allow the business to appreciate and understand the risks of software implementation. The
intention behind performing software testing is to find out errors. It is not practicably feasible to develop a
product 100 percentage bug free. So testing is carried out to ensure that the product should meet its
necessary requirements without fail. In order to ensure that we perform various levels of testing like
modular testing, Integration testing, System testing etc. The comparison and application areas of the above
said testing is discussed in our paper. Our project will provide a detailed layout of various software testing
techniques with its analysis of strength and weaknesses.
Keywords: Unit testing,Black box testing, White box testing and Integration testing.
