A 9 years old girl named Katie was found dead in her house by her parents.

She was found

with bruises all over her body ,blood stream down her nose, and right hand broken. The
police give an temporarily assumed that the murder is her own babysitter, because the
babysitter was supposed to babysit her until her parents come home, but when the police is
looking for the babysitter on her house, shes not in there. After some investigation the police
found the babysitter and she admit that she did tortured Katie just to give a lesson to Katie to
stay behaved, but she didnt mean to kill Katie. She told the police that Katie doesnt want to
eat and throw the food to her (the babysitter) face, that makes her furious and decided to give
Katie a punishment. She start by breaking Katies right hand and continue with beating her
up. But suddenly the blood streaming down from Katies nose and Katie losing her conscious.
The babysitter try to wake her up but its not working. The babysitter start to panic and leave
Katies house. The reason why Katies death is because of the bleeding on her brain that
comes from the beating from her babysitter.

In this case, the babysitter can be charged with Article 354 clausa 2 from Criminal Code
about Serious Maltreatmnent. The maltreatment that Katies get is conclude as Serious
Maltreatment because the babysitter has the intention to give Katie a punishment by breaking
her hand. The maltreatment that Katies get make her dead thats why this case is include in
Article 354 clausa 2. The babysitter shall be punished with a maximum imprisonment of ten
years.

A mother killed her own son (14) because his own request. Her son is diagnosed with ALS by
his doctor 7 years ago. She and her husband is trying so hard to get their son cured. But the
condition of her son is getting even worse. After having ALS for 7 years hes feeling useless
and desperate. He cant even move his legs now, his legs is completely paralyzed.. He always
asked his parent to killed him to end his suffer but they always strongly refused it. Until one
day he decided want to jump to the pool, but his mom saw it before it happened and stopped
him. He asking her mom desperately to pushed him to the pool so he wont be suffered
anymore. Her mom pushed him to the pool eventually. His father come but it was too late.
That incident is caught by cctv on their house. The police determined his mom as the suspect.

This case can be charged with Article 344 about Mercy Killing from Criminal Code. The
reasons :
1. Because there is a request from the victim to the suspect to kill him.
2. The request was clearly mentioned by the victim to his parent.
The offender shall be punished by maximum imprisonment of twelve years.

A beautiful movie star suing a novelist because that novelist is using her full name as the
character from her book. The problem for the movie star is that the character on the novelist's
book be told having an addiction towards drugs and alcohol. Another problem is the character
on that book is described really look like her and also having a job as an actress. According to
that movie star, she feels aggrieved because that book make her look bad in front of her fans.
She also said that she had never done anything that written in that book. The police still
investigating about this case.

This case can be charged with Article 310 clausa 2. The reasons are:
1. The action from the novelist by writing the actress named as her character where the
character is having bad addiction is conclude as attacking the actresss reputation.
2. The book is already sell to the public can make people think the wrong statements
towards the actress.
3. The actress feels aggrieved by the novelists action.
The offenders shall be punished by maximum imprisonment of one year and four months or a
maximum fine of three hundren rupiahs.

A 20 years old girl was raped by her friends brother. According to the statement from the
victim, she was invited to her friends birthday party, and in that party she met her friend's
brother and having a conversation with him. She remember her friend's brother offering her a
drink. Suddenly she feels dizzy. She remember that she told her friend and her friend's
brother that she felt dizzy. She start losing a little bit of her conscious and the last thing she
remembered was she feels getting picked up by someone. And then she said that she heard a
woman scream, turns out it was her friend's scream. The victim try to open her eyes but she

can't. According to the police, her friend called the police and report that her brother is raping
her friend. After some investigations the police found some kind of anaestethic formula on
her drink, because of that evidence, the police determined that her friend's brother as the
suspect.
