every engagement or wedding, world over, as is customary,rings are
exchanged. But we really do not know the real signifcanceo it. Hence, we
a ll more on the beauty and price giving expensive
rings, whether it has a relevant stone studded in it or not. We forget the
importance o the suitability o what has to be given.A gun without a bullet
is useless. Similarly, gems and stones are
the bullets of numerology. There are 84 kinds of stones each with
certain chemical properties. Our body absorbs those chemicals that
it requires from these stones. Our body is a magnet that creates an
aura with rays within a distance o 1 to 2 e et away. The stones create
a positive energy and harmony into the environment, which further
creates a healthy mind and body, resulting in better opportunities,
satisfactory results and consequent prosperity. That is why wearing

nation, every race or community, every civilization strives o r.The purpose
o any religions teachings, however good they are, is

Pythagoras was the father of numerology, some say the Chaldeans,

Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) neither encouraged it nor discouraged it.
However, he has given us some Hadith (sayings o Prophet) which
could indirectly be attributed to this, such as, - Give your child a
good
name. and Learn to know thyself.
An incident where the Prophet guided a person to marry three
times, to improve his overall condition and which did improve, hence,clearly
indicates that correct marriage combinations are as importantas giving a
person a correct name.Late, Syed Mohd. Razi, an Islamic scholar, in his book
Sayingsof Ali has mentioned that Ali taught the world astrology,
astronomy,
mathematics. many other subjects. We shouldnt forget that Hazrat
Ali was entirely a product o the teachings o Prophet Mohammed
(pbuh). In Hazrat Alis own words I have never disobeyed God andthe
Prophet (pbuh). The Quran says in verse XV: 16 It is we whohave set
outThe Zodiacal signs in the heavens
And made them far-seeming
To all beholdersThere couldnt be anything more clearer indication than this.
Mr.
Abdulla Yusu Ali, one o the most renowned & respected Quran
translators in English, has urther described about the above verse
Then there are the mansions of the moons, the mapping out of
theconstellations and the other
marvelous facts of the heavens some of which affect our physical
life on this earth. But the highest lessonswe can draw from them are
spiritual.
There are many verses in the Quran that have been translated /
interpreted differently by different translators. One such verse is LXXII
: 28 -..And he surrounds(All the Mysteries) that areWith them and takes
accountOf every single thing.

This is a translation by Mr. Abdulla Yusu Ali. The last two lines
have been translated by another renowned Islamic scholar, Mr. Khwaja
Hassan Nizami in Urdu, o which the literal English translation is And we
have dividedBy Numbers, every single thing.It is clear in the verse LXXII: 26
& 27 that God does not acquaint
anyone with his mysteries except the apostles. These are u r ther
interpreted as God reveals such things to the extent that is good
o r man, through his chosen apostle. The brain to humans is the gi to God,
the capacity o which He Alone has determined and o manunder no
circumstances can cross those boundaries or limits. Hence,God has approved
the limits o man to such an extent that are good or him. However, within
those limits, i the man has learnt negligiblelaws and mysteries o the
universe that inuence our physical li e onthis earth, then it should be
understood that we are very much withinour limits and within Gods
approval.
The Arabs started developing the sciences of astrology, astronomy,
mathematics & medicine. The ames o modern education spread
a ster, frst in Damascus and then reaching its peak in Baghdad underthe 6

Imam, Jaa arAl Sadiq, who had written a lot on these sciences.That is why
many call it as Ilm-e-Ja r. TheArabs per ected many
sciences with accuracy and then began to teach them to the world. With
the result, great scientists, numerologists, astrologers, astronomers,
physicts, chemists, philosophers, mathematicians,etc, emerged, such

recent years.Jaber Bin Hayyan (721-815 AD), who was in the court o
Harun-ur-Rashid migrated to Europe rom Baghdad. He taught his
sciencesto the Europeans. Ater him many Arab Scholar ollowed to
Europe.In the early 1500 AD Bahlol Dana, a highly acclaimed
numerologist,owing to problems in Baghdad with the Ruler at that time,
migrated to
Punjab (India). Here he came in contact with Guru Nanak, the

o the Sikh sect, which is confrmed in the book Spirit o Sikh

Volume II by Mr. Puran Singh. The two were very good riends and

combination is extremely dangerous. Meenakshi
is number 8, which is a bad number and her husbands number is 9,
which is good. So it is obvious that only Meenakshi should change her

should not be eaten by the person and his amily in
whose name the Aqeeqa is being done. It is advisable to distribute it to
the poor people. This completes the aqeeqa ceremony. Similarly, the
Hindus should per orm Naam Karan, with proper puja, the Christians
should change it with the Christianing ceremony, and the people o
other religions should also change their names methodically with
theirreligious rites. The clerics o their respective religions would know the
method. Hence, they should be consulted. The time and date have alsoto be determined
or the ceremony.
Metaphorically speaking in computer language, that Gods computer
makes the entry o your names, only on three occasions -1. First name given to the child
whether Aqeeqa is done or not.
2. Name given on Aqeeqa / Naam Karan day whether it is his frst
name or changed name.3. Name as on the marriage day and specifcally as written
on themarriage contract (Nikah Nama).

Dont be embarrassed and dont act under social pressure. Think
