5.14.2.
In the event of any failure affecting the operation of the concealment device(s) the : not applicable

5.19.
When the movable components are in a position other than a Normal position of : pass / fail

5.21.

5.23.

Lamps shall be fitted in a vehicle in such a way that the light source can be correctly : pass / fail
replaced according to the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer without the use of
cumple / no cumple
special tools, other than those provided with the vehicle by the manufacturer. This
requirement isnot applicable to:

5.24.
Any temporary fail-safe replacement of the light-signalling function of a rear position : not applicable
lamp is allowed, provided that the substituting function in case of a failure is similar
no aplicable
in colour, main intensity and position to the function that has ceased to operate and
provided that the substituting device remains operational in its original safety
function. During substitution, a tell-tale on the dashboard (see Paragraph 2.18. of this
Regulation) shall indicate occurrence of a temporary replacement and need for repair.

5.25.
Where an AFS is fitted, it shall be considered equivalent to a pair of dipped-beam : not applicable
headlamps and, if it provides main-beam function(s), it shall be considered equivalent
no aplicable
to a pair of main-beam headlamps.
En caso de que se instale un AFS en el vehculo, este sistema se considerar
equivalente a un par de luces de cruce y, si ofrece la funcin de luz de carretera, se

5.26.
Rear direction indicator lamps, rear position lamps, stop lamps (except stop lamps of : not applicable
Category S4) and rear fog lamps with variable luminous intensity control are allowed,
no aplicable
which respond simultaneously to at least one of the following external influences:
ambient lighting, fog, snowfall, rain, spray, dust clouds, contamination of the light
emitting surface, provided that their prescribed intensity relationship is maintained
throughout variation transitions. No sharp variation of intensity shall be observed
during transition. Stop lamps of Category S4 may produce variable luminous
intensity independent from the other lamps. It may be possible for the driver to set the
functions above to luminous intensities corresponding to their steady category and to
return them to their automatic variable category.
Se podrn instalar luces indicadoras de direccin traseras, luces de posicin
traseras, luces de frenado (excepto las luces de frenado de la categora S4) y luces
antiniebla traseras con control de intensidad luminosa variable, que respondan

5.27
The electric power supply conditions for main beam, dipped beam, stop lamp, front
position lamp and rear position lamp comply, when the electrical system of the
vehicle is in a constant voltage operating condition, representative for the relevant
category of powered vehicle as specified by the applicant, with the following
provisions:
Las condiciones de suministro de energa elctrica para la luz de carretera, luz de
cruce, luces de freno, luz de posicin delantera y luz de posicin trasera cumplen,
cuando el sistema elctrico del vehculo funciona a una tensin constante
representativa de la categora de vehculo de motor que especifique el solicitante, las
disposiciones siguientes:
5.27.1
The voltage supplied at the terminals of devices which, according to their type : pass / fail
approval documentation, have been tested by the application of a special power

supply/electronic light source control gear, or in a secondary operating mode or at a
voltage requested by the applicant, shall not exceed the voltage specified for the
relevant devices or functions as they have been approved.
