STI INNOVATION. Developed to be a high capacity 1911. Demanded by high-speed competitive shooters in the
early 90s it has been improved upon by STI over three dozen times. The glass filled polymer and modular grip absorbs
recoil and is extremely lightweight. Since the grips are injection molded with steel inserts they are much stronger and
thinner than all-steel grips. Both a 2011 and a standard width 1911 are 1.30 wide and both have a 17 degree grip
angle. In total, the grip diameter of the 2011 is only about 0.25 larger than a traditional 1911.

30 plus years of experience in competitive
shooting sports. Research on what todays
shooters are doing to and looking for in
their race guns has driven STI to once
again break new ground with the DVC.
Accuracy, power and speed were recognized as the quintessential elements and have become the foundation of IPSC
shooting. The Latin motto Diligentia, Vis, Celeritas (DVC),
meaning accuracy, power and speed was introduced to reflect
these balanced elements. Range procedures and rules for

Significant weight has been removed from the DVC slide in every possible way to better increase cycle
rate, and the improved compensator alleviates muzzle jump. The barrel is finished with Titanium Nitrate
to increase surface hardness, lubricity and wear properties. The new sear and hammer design give the
gun a crisp consistent trigger with a shorter reset. Responsive handling and control is had by way of
specialty texturing done by Extreme Shooters to give the shooter enhanced grip and improved
ergonomics. The DVC is the epitome of what a competition gun should be. Lets go racin!

OUT OF THE BOX COMPETITION READINESS. The Trubor has been the standard in USPSA Open
Division shooting since its introduction in 2002. The compensator and barrel are precision machined
from a single piece so there are no threads, or alignment issues of the compensator and bore
increasing accuracy and reducing recoil muzzle jump by 45-percent. STI innovated this technology and

UNIQUE FEATURES. NOTHING VENTURED, NOTHING GAINED. The Apeiro features a unique
Island barrel. The front sight is dovetailed into the barrel instead of the slide, creating additional material
on the top of the barrel. So, the increased barrel weight combined with the reduction in slide weight
means less recoil, and faster cycling with more accurate follow up shots. The cuts also improve barrel
to slide lockup meaning increased accuracy as well. The Apeiros slide is stainless steel and features the

THE PROOF IS IN THE PERFORMANCE. STILL. The Eagle lead the way in STIs development of the
2011. This gun was the first ever high capacity handgun featuring the tried and true John Browning 1911
design. The idea came about in 1993 when competition shooters wanted a gun that shot as good as their
1911, but had the capacity that action shooting demands, thus the Eagle was born. Today the gun has not
changed much, it still features the modular 2011 frame and short dust cover for a lightweight gun that
stays on target.

The STI 2011 Frame is manufactured from

4140 Maxell Alloy steel, pre-cut for high
ride beavertail grip safety and ambidextrous thumb safety configuration. The
frame is CNC milled billet, creating a very
accurate frame to build the highest quality
pistols. The innovative frame design preserves the 17 degree angle of grip in relation to the slide, original to the 1911. The
essential design element for high capacity,
the 2011 grip, is made from glass filled
nylon polymer and is checkered with 30
LPI in the complete front strap and 25 LPI
on the trigger guard. To increase strength
and durability, metal inserts are molded
into the grip to allow metal to metal contact with the frame. All frame kits include:
frame, grip, magazine release, mainspring
housing and trigger.

The STI International slides are CNC milled from pre-hardened bar stock 4140 carbon steel to ensure slide rail exactness.
The breech face is wire EDM cut for maximum precision angle. STI offers two slide lengths: 5.00 (Government) and 6.00
(Long Slide). The slides have lowered and flared ejection ports (largest in the industry) for reliable case ejection. STI offers
a variety of options on our slides that can save time in the final assembly of a high quality pistol.
The STI slide to frame fit is offered in both the 2011

and the 1911 style frames. Each frame is precisely
hand fit to the slide. This offers a tight yet smooth
fit, aiding in the basics of any high quality pistol.

5.11 Bushing Barrel
STI barrels are made from 416 rifle grade stainless steel billet forgings. The bore is gun drilled, button
rifled, then air gauged to offer the most exacting size, and most consistent barrel available. The rifling
is 1 in 16 twist and has six lands and grooves. The barrels are vacuum heat treated and vacuum
tempered to 40 Rockwell, then machined to exacting specifications. The barrels are short chambered
to allow gunsmiths to cut the chamber to their application.

RECOIL MASTERS & SPRINGS
The STI Recoil Master is designed to achieve softer recoil and bring
the pistol back to point of aim quicker by using two springs for recoil
verses the traditional single spring.
The 5.00 Recoil Master will fit all government model 1911 style
pistols. (Some fitting may be required for non-STI firearms.) The 4.15
and 3.90 are designed for STI pistols only.
Note: The primary spring on your STI Recoil Master should be changed
out every 5000 rounds, and the Recoil Master itself replaced after
25,000 rounds. Failure to do so can result in damage to your pistol.

The STI high rise beavertail Grip Safety is designed for all
1911 and 2011 pistols. It is produced out of 4140 steel or 17-4
stainless steel. The safety arm is pre-notched, has a deeper strut

STI Competition Front Sight
STI manufactures a wide variety of sights for pistols,

ranging from personal carry to competition and PPC
competition. Night sight sets are also available. STI uses
Trijicon tritium inserts for the brightest, highest quality
night sights available on the market. STI sights are
designed to fit industry standard sight cuts, but like all
quality sights will require some minor fitting.

with longer life, greater strength, and better corrosion resistance. STI 2011 magazines are built
specifically for all STI 2011 style pistols and frames. In combination with the STI 2011 frame, the
STI 2011 magazine allows for maximum round capacity, ranging from 10 to 26 rounds (depending on length and caliber).
