QUESTION 1 [20 marks]


(a) For the circuit given in Figure 1a, Rb represents the resistance of a light bulb.

Identify which elements are in parallel. Justify.

Using LAW OF ENERGY CONSERVATION, calculate IS if the light bulb (Rb) operates

(a) For the circuit shown in Figure 2a, use NODAL ANALYSIS to solve the following:

Write ALL the required equations in order to solve for ALL node voltages in the circuit.

(b) For the circuit shown in Figure 2b, use MESH ANALYSIS to solve the following:

For the circuit given in Figure 4a, consider ideal op-amp.
