crimes including healthcare fraud, wire fraud, theft of government funds, child sexual exploitation,
human and sex trafficking, firearms, and other criminal violations.
Directed a multistate credit card and identity fraud investigation involving the Secret Service, IRS,
Federal Protective Service, and state and local law enforcement agencies.

Directed and prosecuted numerous cases including healthcare fraud, bank fraud, narcotics, alien smuggling,
child exploitation, human and sex trafficking, and other criminal violations.
Assisted in the investigation and prosecution of a Medicaid healthcare fraud case involving approximately
$66 million in billing by a dental clinic.
Oversaw a bank fraud investigation involving a $1 million commercial property business loan.
Facilitated interagency cooperation between the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security on child
sexual exploitation cases resulting in a significant increase in prosecutions. As a result, the office
prosecuted approximately twenty-four sexual exploitation cases annually, for the last three years.
Drafted, submitted, and affirmed on two appellate briefs to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals involving the
admissibility of prior convictions and reasonable suspicion for conducting a traffic stop.

misconduct.
Incorporated knowledge from MBA into to work with senior leaders to develop and implement metrics to
evaluate how the legal office could better serve the community. Lead to an increase in legal services
provided, an increase in will executions, decrease in wait times, and a decrease in processing times. As a
result, the office received laudatory comments from senior leaders.
Provided ethics training to hundreds of Soldiers and contractors include compliance with conflict of interests
statutes and regulations, government contracting, use of government property, gifts from outside sources,
interacting with government contractors, etc.

Represented the United States in the prosecution of federal and state criminal involving over 4,000 Soldiers.
Coordinated complex investigations and advised senior leaders on cases garnering national media coverage
involving murder, sexual assaults, and intentional transmission of HIV.
Prosecuted a large volume of cases involving approximately 100 administrative separations from the Army,
234 administrative punishment actions, and three contested administrative separation boards.
Trained and mentored three new prosecutors on various aspects of federal criminal law to include in-court
representation, drafting charges, negotiations, and effective communication with senior officials.
Directed a Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Office and supervised fifteen personnel including five civilian
volunteers.
Assisted Soldiers, retirees, and family members in saving over $636,000 in tax preparation fees, a 60%
increase over the prior year and in obtaining refunds over $6,000,000, a 26% increase over the prior year.
Trained thousands of senior and junior Soldiers and contractors deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan on the
Rule of Law, the Rules of Engagement, and Army policies.
