Thrift-Incentive Plan Information for Rehired Employees

If you previously participated in TIP and are rehired on or before the first year anniversary of the date you
left Liberty, your contribution and investment elections will automatically resume as soon as administratively
possible. If you did not have elections in place at the time you left Liberty, you will be automatically enrolled at
6 percent of pay before-tax deductions, which will be invested in TIPs Qualified Default Investment Alternative
(QDIA), which is a Target-Date fund based on the number of years until your age-65 retirement date.

If you are rehired after the first year anniversary of the date you left Liberty, you can enroll by accessing the
Your Total Rewards site. If you dont enroll within the first 30 days, you will automatically be enrolled at 6
percent of pay before-tax deductions, which will be invested in TIPs Qualified Default Investment Alternative
(QDIA), which is the Target-Date fund based on the number of years until an age-65 retirement date.

In both cases, if you are automatically enrolled but do not wish to contribute to TIP, you may request a withdrawal
of your before-tax contributions, including any earnings and losses on those contributions. You must make this
election by calling Benefits Express at 1-800-758-4460 no later than 90 days after the first automatic contribution is
deducted from your pay. Please refer to the TIP summary plan description for additional details.

Finished With Your Flexible Benefits Enrollment?

Company of Boston (Liberty Life). Until the form is approved, coverage is set at $25,000.

coverage takes effect on your date of hire.

information. Make sure you make your elections as close to your first day of work as possible so you receive your
health-care identification cards within four weeks after the Company processes your elections.

date of hire.
All eligible participants will accrue pension benefits under the Plans cash balance formula. Participants will
receive monthly pay credits and interest credits through a cash balance account. The pay credit will be equal
to 4.5% of your eligible monthly compensation. Interest credits will be applied monthly to your opening account
balance and will be based on the United States 30-Year Treasury Rate as announced each year.
You do not need to enroll in the Plan to participate. You will, however, need to elect your beneficiary on Your
Total Rewards. You will be able to elect your beneficiary on Your Total Rewards once your information has been
processed in Liberty Gateway, Libertys HR Information System, and received by Your Total Rewards. This could
take up to ten business days.

A Final Note
Remember, youll be most likely to have a successful enrollment if you understand the eligibility requirements,
what each plan covers and what it doesnt, and your share of any costs. All of this information is available on the
Your Total Rewards website. While you can change your TIP (401(k) Savings) elections at any time, right now is
the one chance you have, until the next Falls annual enrollment period, to enroll in the Flexible Benefits Program.
The only exception is a change in status, such as marriage or the birth/adoption of a child.
Additionally, the benefits described in this booklet are governed by the provisions of each plan, as described in the
summary plan descriptions available within the Your Total Rewards website.
Please take the time to make sure you enroll in the benefits that are right for you.
