Integrated management of wired and wireless networks: eSight's open platform supports IP devices from
Cisco, HP and other vendors, and provides unied management of campus devices such as switches,
routers, WLAN devices, and rewalls.
Visualized quality management: SLA Manager can be used with the NQA function of network devices to
help evaluate packet loss ratio, delay, and jitter. This realizes timely fault diagnosis and provides a good
user experience in enterprise campus networks.
Visible trafc management: Fine-grained trafc management at the campus egress allows allocation of
sufcient bandwidth for audio, video, and Internet services.

eSight solution: The integrated eSight management solution manages both wired and wireless
devices, displays trafc and QoS statistics, protects core enterprise assets, and improves operation and
maintenance efciency.
The eSight standard edition, WLAN Manager, SLA Manager, Network Trafc Analyzer and Access Control
Manager are recommended for a campus network. The deployment provides these functions:
1. eSight standard edition implements unied management of switches, routers, rewalls, and servers
across the entire network. eSight provides comprehensive network resource management interfaces
to improve O&M efciency and reduce management costs. The intelligent report system summarizes
terminal, resource, and service statistics for the whole network, giving IT managers and enterprise
executives in-depth information about the enterprise network.
2. WLAN Manager integrates the management of wired and wireless networks. It provides GUIs for
WLAN network management, RF information management, and end-to-end fault diagnosis.
3. The SLA Manager conducts end-to-end network quality testing, evaluation, and diagnosis to help
quickly detect network problems on the enterprise network.
4. Network Trafc Analyzer monitors network trafc at the campus egress. It employs rened
management to ensure proper use of network resources and provide trafc data that can be used to
plan bandwidth expansion or trafc policy optimization on a campus network or an MPLS network
leased from a carrier.
5. eSight Policy Center authenticates access terminals and allows only authorized terminals to access
the enterprise network, ensuring efcient utilization of enterprise network resources. In addition,
eSight Policy Center assigns different network access permissions to users based on their roles,
access terminals, and access points. For example, an employee is authorized to access the enterprise
intranet and Internet, while a partner can gain access only to the Internet from the enterprise network.

to data from enterprise branches in other locations. In order to isolate enterprise services, MPLS service
is often deployed on the enterprise network. How to manage these cross-regional branch networks and
how to make these networks better serve enterprise applications and promote enterprise services have
become new challenge.
eSight solution: eSight provides enterprise customers with a multi-branch visible network management
solution that allows enterprise customers to view the network, devices, quality, trafc, and services. This

1. The eSight standard edition with the SLA Manager, the Network Trafc Analyzer, and the MPLS VPN
Manager is recommended for use on enterprise branch networks. eSight standard edition provides a
lightweight web-based management system to implement easy, unied management of branches.

3. NTA monitors network trafc at the branch network egress. It employs rened management to

Visualized management of physical and virtual resources: eSight DC nCenter displays the connection and running status
of devices in real time, including the subordinate and connection relationship between physical TOR switches, physical
servers, vSwitches, and VMs.
Automatic migration of the data center network: DC nCenter detects VM changes (for example, a VM goes online, goes
ofine, or is migrated) through vCenter, and synchronizes virtual network congurations to the physical network by
changing network congurations between source and destination TOR switches.
Automatic assessment of data center KQIs: eSight monitors data center interface trafc and conducts SLA analysis for key
services. This helps users to detect faults in advance and quickly diagnose faults, ensuring the QoS of the data center.
Network Description
Characteristics of data center networks: The VM technology is widely used in data centers to reduce the number of
required servers and enhance service reliability. A data center needs to manage not only the physical network but also the
virtual network. How to ensure service continuity during VM migration is a difculty in data center management.
The eSight professional edition, SLA Manager, Network Trafc Analyzer, and DC nCenter are recommended for a data
