happened on December 12, 2015?
A4. Yes, Maam.
Q5. Do you know the accused Big bad wolf?
A5. Yes.
Q6. How did you come to know the accused?
A6. As I was in the woods, I met a wolf. He asked me where I was going. I said to him, "I am
going to see my sickly grandmother and carry her cake and a little pot of butter from my
mother.
Q7. Can you describe to me the appearance of the wolf?
A7. He is hairy, tall, and big. He has 2 large fangs and a long tongue. He was wearing a blue
cotton jumpsuit. He has long and sharp nails and he was holding something wrapped in cloth that
looks like a sharp object. He has big legs, big eyes, big arms and big ears.
Q8. After answering the wolf of where were you headed, what did he tell you?
A8. He asked, "Does granny live far off?" and I answered "Oh I say, it is beyond that mill you
see there, at the first house in the village." Then he said, "Well, I'll go and see her too. I'll go this
way and go you that, and we shall see who will be there first."
A18. I was calling granny from the door but she was not responding at first so I entered the
house which door was slightly open and saw someone hiding in bedclothes.
Q19. Did you approach the person?
A19. Yes, I did.
Q20. Did that person said something, and if yes, what did the person say?
A20. "Who's there?"
Q21. What was your response?
A21. At first I was afraid hearing the voice that sounded like the wolf but believing my granny
had a cold and was hoarse, I said, "Your grandchild, Little Red Riding Hood," replied the wolf,
counterfeiting her voice; "who has brought you a cake and a little pot of butter sent you by
mother."
Q22. What was the response of the person after you introduced yourself?
A21. I heard a soft voice tell me, "Put the cake and the little pot of butter upon the stool, and
come get into bed with me."
Q23. And what did you do after being instructed by the person in bedclothes?
A23. I took off my clothes and got into bed. I was greatly amazed to see how granny looked in
her nightclothes, and I said to her, "Grandmother, what big arms you have!"
Q24. What did the person say?
A24. "All the better to hug you with, my dear."
Q25. Did you ask anything?
A24. Yes, I said "Grandmother, what big legs you have!"
Q25. What was the response?
A26. "All the better to run with, my child."
Q27. What was your conversation like?
A27. I said, "Grandmother, what big ears you have!" He said, "All the better to hear with, my
child."
I said, "Grandmother, what big eyes you have!" He said, "All the better to see with, my child."
I said, "Grandmother, what big teeth you have got!" He said, "All the better to eat you up with."
Q28. Upon hearing that the person will eat you, what happened?
A28. The wicked wolf removed his bedclothes and pointed a knife at me so I was able to identify
that he was the one I talked to earlier in the woods. I immediately run out of the house and
screamed for help.
Q29. Did someone come to help you?
A29. The huntsman, neighbour of granny, who was around at that time came to help me. I told
him that a big bad wolf tried to eat me so we immediately proceeded to grannys house to check
granny.
Q30. Upon reaching the mill together with the huntsman, was the wolf still there?
A30. Yes, we saw the wolf eating granny.
Q31. What did the two of you do?
A31. The huntsman axed the wolfs head causing him to bleed and lose consciousness. He
immediately tied the wolfs hands and feet with a rope in the kitchen and put the wolf outside the
house.
Q32. What happened to granny?
A32. I saw her lying on the floor, her body soaked in blood, she has bite wounds from different
parts of her body and her arm was eaten by the wolf. She is dead by the time I arrived. I was
crying and screaming. I couldnt believe what happened.
Q33. What did you do after finding out the death of your granny?
A33.The huntsman after hearing me sobbing went to me and covered my granny in bedclothes
then he put her in bed. I called mother to tell her what happened to granny.
Q34. How were you able to identify the accused that he killed granny?
A34. He was the only one in the woods I talked to and I cannot forget his peculiar appearance.
The person covered in beclothes and the wolf is one and the same, the clothes, teeth, big ears and
big arms. When we returned to the house, we saw eating grannys arm. By that time, I knew the
unusual smell came from the body of granny which he hid somewhere in the house.
Q35. Where did you think the wolf hide grannys body before you arrive?
A35. Because he was in a hurry that I might catch him, he hid the body in the closet and used
grannys nightclothes to deceive me.
Q36. How did you know he hid the body in the closet?
A36. When the investigators came, I saw them open the closet filled with blood.
Q37. What did you do when the investigators came?
A37. I answered some of their questions regarding granny, the wolf, and the mill.
