Krav Maga/Ju Jitsu Concepts Constitution

Article I - Name and Description

Krav Maga/Ju Jitsu Concepts
Our goal as a club, an organization, and a family, is to provide our fellow
students and peers with a practical, easily executed, and easy to learn
Hypermodern Self-Defense system that will keep them safe. We believe that
training in self-defense builds confidence, character, people skills, and both
mental and physical fitness and stamina. We will instruct this philosophy by
utilizing and combining the techniques and knowledge of Ju Jitsu, a Japanese
martial art thousands of years old, and Krav Maga, a self-defense system
utilized and field tested by the Israeli military.
Article II - Purpose
Krav Maga/Ju Jitsu Concepts will be recreational in nature. We believe that
self-defense in itself is not a sport, but rather a web of applicable knowledge.
Article III - Membership
Anybody willing to work hard, better themselves and the person next to
them, and most importantly only use their knowledge for self-defense, is
more than welcome at Krav Maga/Ju Jitsu Concepts. We welcome all skill
levels, all levels of physical fitness, and emphasize co-recreation.
Article IV - Meetings/Practices
We plan to meet twice a week in the evenings (after 5:30 PM) based on space
availability and the availability of the majority of members

We do not plan on meeting anywhere of campus
