Dear All,

Final project presentation should present a coherent story of the growth (i.e., its strategic
management related aspects) of the firm. It should include the contents of previous two
presentations. Apart from that, the final presentation should include:
Interim Project Presentation
a. Identify some key success factors (five to ten) in the industry. How are they evolving? (SourceAnalysts reports) - Shirish
b. Identify the industry profit pool. (Source- Analysts reports). - Saurabh
c. Identify the level of internationalization of the firm. Things to note- if there is a presence abroad,
if yes, it is increasing/ decreasing, if not, plans concerning this. (Source- Annual reports) Shubhank
d. Analysis of the internal environment of the firm. It should cover (Source- Annual reports):
i. trends in last five to ten years in some (five to seven) internal environmental factors relevant to
your firm. For e.g., number of employees, no of plants, no. of outlets/ service stations/ warehouses,
financial assets such as retailed earnings, R&D investments/ centers/ employees, no of patents, etc

ii. information on some aspects of firms value chain activities. Depending upon available data and
importance of activity choose three to five activities, and also reflect upon the trends in them.

iii. also note the number of product categories (with description and key products/ brands) the firm has
been offering since the last five years. Saurabh

Final Project presentation


a. an analysis of the elements of business strategy of the firm, and all the key changes, in any
or all of the elements, that took place in the last five-10 years. (Source- Annual reports, new
papers reports, analysts reports) - Saurabh
b. an analysis of linkage between the elements of business strategy of the firm or the changes
therein with the trends identified in previous two steps concerning macro, industry,
competitor, or internal environment of the firm (done in parts one and two, i.e., previous two
presentations) - Fuzail
c. comments on whether these elements of firms business strategy are adequate and aligned
with the changes you have identified previously, and - Shirish
d. comments on at least two of the following issues in the firm with respect to their role/ utility
in strategy implementation- Leadership, Organizational Structure, Performance review
system, Organizational Culture, Organizational learning, or Knowledge management Anshul

e. Give your recommendations for future strategy of the firm, and how should the firm go
