in the yard. We are paying $48.50/ ton for loads

and up to 60 on the big
end. We prefer 33 or 16
6 log lengths. We will keep
the log yard open until summer or until most of the fire
salvage has been cut. This
will help reduce freight cost
and be more cost effective
for the land owners than
transporting big Ponderosa
Pine and Douglas Fir out of
