THE SIX HEALING SOUNDS


THEORY
1. Every healthy organ is associated with a particular sound, color and
quality of energy.
2. Emotional challenges, pollution, lack of exercise, junk food, stress
and strain and physical injuries can weaken the organs.
3. Practice of the six healing sounds will help to restore, balance and
cleanse the vital organs by correcting these factors.
4. Chi flow throughout the body will be stimulated to enhance overall
health and vitality.
5. Stress is a major contributing factor. There is an ancient Taoist
saying Stress cooks your Brain.
6. Daily practice of the six healing sounds will restore calmness and
good health.
7. Will lead to better digestion and enhance sexual pleasure.
8. Dependence on sleeping pills, tranquilizers, aspirin and antacid will
come down.
9. Depression, anxiety, anger, fears etc; can be relieved.
10.
Each of the six organs has a paired organ that gets similarly
affected. Likewise practicing the six healing sound will improve the
concerned organ and its associate.

FIRST COSMIC HEALING SOUND THE LUNG SOUND

Element: Metal.
Associated Organ: Large Intestine.
Season: Autumn.
Color: White.
Emotions: grief and Sadness.
Virtues: Courage and righteousness.
Related Senses: Smell (Nose) and Touch (Skin).
Taste: Pungent.
Related parts of the body: Chest. Inner Arms and Thumb.
Sound: Ssssssssssss (Tongue behind teeth).

EXERCISE
1. Sit with back straight, eyes closed. Hands on lungs. Legs
uncrossed. Smile into lungs and imagine the Lungs smiling back.

Imagine a white healing light and hear a metal sound like the
ringing of a brass bell.
Take a deep breath, eyes open and raise your arms out in front of
you, palms facing lungs. When the hands are at eye level start
rotating the palms, bring them above your head until they are
facing the sky. Fingers of both hands should be facing each other.
The elbows may be rounded out to the sides. Do not straighten
your arm.
Close the jaws let the teeth meet gently, part the lips slightly, as
you slowly exhale through your teeth with the sound of
Sssssssssss.
Feel the sound starting to move the Chi in the lungs and that
excess heat and toxins are expelled from the lungs.
After exhaling completely, rotate the palms and scoop up the
white light. Allow this light to flow down from your crown into
your lungs. Lower your arms, let palms face the lungs and radiate
white light and courage into your lungs.
Repeat the lung sound three to six times.

SECOND COSMIC HEALING SOUND THE KIDNEY SOUND.

Element: Water.
Associated Organ: Urinary Bladder.
Season: Winter.
Color: Dark Blue.
Emotion: Fear.
Virtues: Gentleness, Calmness, Alertness.
Parts of the body: Sides of the feet, inner legs, chest.

Senses; Hearing (Ears), Bones.


Taste: Salty
Sound; Choooooooooo -- lips forming an O.

EXERCISE
1. Sit with back straight, hands resting on kidneys, eyes closed. Smile
down into your kidneys and imagine your kidneys smiling back at
you. Picture a blue light, the sun shining on the ocean.
2. Take a deep breath, open eyes and put your legs together, ankles
and knees touching. Lean forward and clasp the fingers of both
hands around your knees. Pull your arms straight. Tilt your head up
and look straight, maintaining the pull on your arms from the lower
back.
3. Feel the pull on your spine, round the lips and slightly exhale with
the sound CHoooooooo as if you were blowing out a candle.
Simultaneously contract your abdomen pulling it towards your
kidney.
4. Feel the sound start to move Chi in the kidneys and expel heat and
toxins.
5. After fully exhaling, sit erect, separate legs and move the arms up
to the crown and scoop up blue light. Pour this light into the
kidneys. Lower your arms and hold the palms on the kidneys.
Radiate blue light, gentleness and stillness into the kidneys.
6. Repeat the kidney sound three to six times.

THIRD COSMIC HEALING SOUND THE LIVER SOUND.


Element: Wood.
Associated Organ: Gall Bladder.

Season: Spring.
Color: Green.
Emotion: Anger.
Virtue: Kindness.
Parts of the Body: Inner legs, Groin, Diaphragm, Ribs.
Senses: Sight (Eyes), Tears.

Taste: Sour.
Sound: Shhhhhhhhhh (Tongue near palate)

EXERCISE
1. Sit with back straight, hands resting on Liver, eyes closed. Smile into
your Liver and imagine your Liver smiling back at you. Picture a big
green forest. See the Sun shining creating life force and green light.
2. Take a deep breath, open eyes and extend arms outward to both
sides, palms facing up. Slowly raise the arms up to the crown from
your sides following this action with your eyes. Intertwine your
fingers together and rotate your arm so that palms are facing the
ceiling. Stretch the arm out from the shoulders towards the back.
3. Bend slightly to the left, exerting a gentle pull on the Liver. Open
your eyes wide. Slowly exhale out the sound Shhhhhhhhhh.
4. Feel the sound start to move Chi in the Liver and expel heat and
toxins.
5. After fully exhaling, sit up straight, separate the hands and scoop up
the green light. Pour this light through your crown into the Liver.
Bring the hands down and bring both palms in front of the Liver.
Radiate green light and kindness into the Liver.
6. Repeat the Liver sound three to six times.

FOURTH COSMIC HEALING SOUNDHEART SOUND

Element: Fire.
Associated Organ: Small Intestine.
Season: Summer.
Color: Red.
Emotions: Hastiness, Arrogance, Cruelty.
Virtues: Joy, Honor, Sincerity.
Parts of the body: Armpits, Inner Arms.
Senses: Tongue, Speech.
Taste: Bitter.
Sound: HAwwwwwwww (Mouth wide open).

EXERCISE
1. Sit with back straight, hands resting on Heart, eyes closed. Smile
into your Heart and imagine your Heart smiling back at you. Picture
a sunset on the ocean, a red light.
2. Take a deep breath, open eyes and take the same position as for
Liver sound.
3. Only difference is that you will lean slightly to the right to pull
against your heart which is located left of center of chest. Focus on
the heart, open mouth, round the lips and slowly exhale the sound
Hawwwww.
4. Feel the sound start to move Chi in the Heart and expel heat and
toxins.
5. After fully exhaling, sit up straight, separate the hands and scoop up
the red light. Pour this light through your crown into the Heart.
Bring the hands down and bring both palms in front of the Heart.
Radiate red light, the love and inner joy into the Heart.
6. Repeat the Heart sound three to six times.

FIFTH COSMIC HEALING SOUND SPLEEN SOUND.

Element: Earth.
Associated Organs: Pancreas, Stomach.
Season: Indian summer.
Color: Yellow.
Emotion: Worry.

Virtues: Fairness, Openness.


Parts of the body: Lips, Mouth.
Senses: Taste.
Taste: Sweet, Neutral.
Sound: Whooooooooo (from the throat).

EXERCISE
1. Sit with back straight, hands resting on Spleen, eyes closed. Smile
into your Spleen and imagine your Spleen smiling back at you.
Picture a golden yellow light.
2. Take a deep breath, open the eyes and place the three middle
fingers of both the hands just beneath the sternum on the left side
of the rib cage.
3. Look up and gently press your fingers under the rib cage pushing
your stomach/spleen to the back, push your middle back outward
and loudly exhale the sound Whoooooo from the bottom of your
throat.
4. Feel the sound start to move Chi in the Spleen/Stomach and expel
heat and toxins.
5. After fully exhaling, move the arms outward scooping up yellow light
from the earth. Bring the hands back to the Spleen/stomach.
6. Repeat the Spleen sound three to six times.

SIXTH COSMIC HEALING SOUND TRIPLE WARMER SOUND.

Triple Warmer refers to the three energy centers of the body.


Upper section Brain, Heart, Lungs is hot.
Middle section Liver, kidneys, stomach, pancreas and spleen is
warm.
Lower sectionlarge and small intestine, bladder and sex organs is
cool.

Sound: Heeeeeeeee. Balances the temperature of the three centers


by bringing hot energy down to the lower center and cold energy to
the upper center.

EXERCISE
1. This exercise can be done lying down.
2. Lie on your back. Inhale fully into all three cavities. Chest, solar
plexus and lower abdomen. Bring your hands to your face.
3. Exhale on the sound of Heeeeeeee at the same time moving the
arms from the crown to the feet. While exhaling first flatten your
chest, then solar plexus and finally the lower abdomen.
4. Rest and concentrate. Focus on the entire digestive tract.
5. Repeat the steps three to six times.
