Auditions w ill be held at The Benedum Center, 719 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA - Stage D oor Entrance

The Pittsburgh CLO is a professional Equity com pany. It is preferable if selectees are uni on affiliated , but not essential. H ow ever,
Actors Equity rules pertaining to use of local jobbers and non -professionals w ill be carefully observed . All selected chorus
m em bers m ust join Actors Equity Association. Salary scales are in accord ance w ith e xisting contracts betw een Equity and the
Pittsburgh CLO. Because Pit t sburgh CLO is a civ ic organiz at ion, it is our mission t o ut iliz e as many local performers as possible.

Once you sched ule an aud ition appointm ent, you are required to be there. If you cannot, please em ail us at
aud itions@pittsburghclo.org and cancel at least 1 w eek in ad vance. If you d o not, you are w asting a tim e slot that could be used
for som eone really interested in aud itioning.

APPLICAN TS ON LY w ill be ad m itted to the aud ition. This application is your ad m ittance to the STAGE DOOR on the d ay of
your aud ition. Please allow enough tim e to sign in w ith security before proceed ing to the aud ition room at your specified tim e.

PRELIMIN ARY AUD ITION S: (February 11 13th)

Trained Singers: Be prepared to sing 16 bars of a contemporary up-tempo. You may also be asked to sing a traditional musical
theater style up-tempo or ballad. Please com e w ith read able, easy-to-use m usic in y our key , w ith the pages taped together or in a
book. Bring your dance clothes/shoes w ith you. You m ay be asked to d ance on the initial aud ition d ay.
Trained D ancers: A com bination, usually jazz, tap and ballet w ill be given the d ay of the aud ition. Please w e ar appropriate d ance
attire and shoes. Be prepared to show acro if you can. Bring your music w ith you. You m ay be asked to sing on the initial
aud ition d ay.
Trained Character Actors: Please bring 16 bars of tw o (2) songs, an up -tem po and a ballad to your aud ition, although both m ay not
be called for. Please com e w ith read able, easy -to-use m usic in your key, w ith the pages taped together or in a book.

CALL-BACK AUD ITION S

Character Actors (February13th AM): If you are called back, you w ill be given sid es to prepare.
Singers & D ancers (February 14th): If you are called back for the final aud ition, you w ill be asked to sing and d ance regard less of
your expertise. Bring your sheet m usic and proper d ance clothes & shoes.
An accom panist w ill be provid ed at all aud itions.
