Dear Mr. Buffett:
This letter concerns GEICO auto insurance, and GEICO homeowners insurance, and my
experience as a GEICO client and a consumer of personal, family and household goods and
services, consumer transactions in interstate commerce, and a HECM reverse mortgage.
On November 27, 2015 I got an insurance rate quote of $267.60 total premium for a 6-month
GEICO General Insurance Company auto policy, which I believed, from my phone conversation
with Alexis Crump, included uninsured motorist coverage for policy number 4419555836.
When purchasing the policy online on December 7, 2015, I canceled the transaction mid-way
when I found the GEICO policy did not include uninsured motorist coverage. I renewed with
Progressive Insurance Company instead, where I was an existing client since 2009.
During her sales pitch for GEICO insurance, Ms. Crump compared it favorably with my existing
Progressive policy that included Uninsured Motorist, Nonstacked $10,000 each person/$20,000
each accident. GEICOs bait and switch was Ms. Crumps reassurance by phone that GEICOs
auto policy was equivalent to my Progressive auto policy, when it was not. Crumps persuasive
argument overrode my duty to closely study the information contained in a GEICO follow-up
email which was confusing. In other words, I trusted Ms. Crump, albeit a misplaced trust.
Uninsured Motorist, and Uninsured Motorist (Stacked) is not included per the coverage box
section of the enclosed GEICO email. But the important messages section shows Uninsured
Motorist coverage is mandatory. You may choose to carry the coverage as non-stacked - or reject
it completely in writing.... I suppose this section gives Ms. Crump cover during the sales pitch,
and plausible deniability after the sale. This is one reason I dislike telephone sales calls.
Unfortunately it appears GEICO is aiding the government in the wrongful foreclosure of my
Florida homestead residential property (market value $68,532) on a HECM reverse mortgage.
As a HECM borrower, I am, inter alia, alive and living in the home 12 months a year as my
primary residence in substantial compliance with HECM documents I signed June 5, 2008.

On November 25, 2015 I got an insurance rate quote of $830 from Security First Insurance
Company, that was later bumped to $921 by GEICO by notice in the mail, but was still less than
the $1,100 premium I was paying to American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida.
Prior to buying the policy, Jambaar Stills, Agent for GEICO, GEICO/Security First Insurance
Company, homeowners insurance policy number SFID0566734-01, assured me the premium
payment dates each month would be on or after the 3rd of each month.
Attached is my unanswered letter with attachments to Jambaar Stills, Agent for GEICO.
Dear Mr. Stills,
Security First Insurance Company is wrongly showing my policy billed to Reverse Mortgage
Solutions ISAOA. Policy Number SFID0566734-01 is billed to me, Neil J. Gillespie.
I expect you, as my agent, to correct the wrong information on the website of Security First
Insurance Company: Policy Number SFID0566734-01 is billed to me, Neil J. Gillespie. Policy
Number SFID0566734-01 is not billed to Reverse Mortgage Solutions ISAOA.
Security First Insurance Company is wrongly showing the Next Payment Date 1/1/2016. I
recall discussing with you November 27, 2015, that my monthly income is paid on the 3rd of
each month, therefore I cannot make payments before the 3rd of the month. My initial
payment was December 7, 2015. The policy commenced December 3, 2015.
I expect you to honor our agreement and change the due date to a date after the 3rd of the month.
It appears from the foregoing that GEICO/Security First Insurance Company may be working
against my interest in the HECM reverse mortgage on my property that is in litigation.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) posted my comments to its online Consumer

In my view there would be more complaints about HECM reverse mortgages, except most of the
potential complainants either died of the infirmaries of old age, or have moved into assisted
living facilities and are unable to complain.
As a practical matter, a monthly payment plan means one payment a month. The billing scheme
for my GEICO/ Security First policy # SFID0566734-01 shows two payments due in January,
one payment due January 1, 2016, and a second payment due January 31, 2016. That is a bimonthly payment plan, which destroys the budget plan for my relatively small fixed income.

On December 18, 2015 at 7:36 PM I got email from GEICO/Security First Insurance Company,
that refers to my homeowners insurance policy number SFID0566734-01 as a Dwelling Fire
policy. What is the significance this apparent policy name change?
I have requested Ms. Kizer forward this email and letter to you. I understand you may not be
personally aware of the foregoing, but I thought you should know about the situation with
GEICO auto insurance, and GEICO homeowners insurance, as Chairman and CEO of Berkshire

Uninsured Motorist (UM) coverage provides for payment of certain benefits for

Reverse Mortgage Solutions ISAOA, it is billed to me. That billing mistake must be corrected. My

the month. We discussed, and you agreed to this billing. This billing error must be corrected.
