DDOT Offers Americans with Disabilities Act
(ADA) 101
Title II Implementation Spanish Language
Open to all DDOT/WMATA certified DBE firms and other construction-related
small businesses
(Washington, DC) The District Department of Transportation's (DDOT) Office of Civil
Rights Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Supportive Services Program is hosting a
free workshop titled Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 101 Title II
Implementation. The objective of the training is to promote ADA Awareness and
increase implementation within construction site decisions and design phases.
Upon completion of the course, participants will:

Be familiar with the Standards and Guidelines of the Americans


with Disabilities Act
Be able to assess an area for ADA compliance
Understand the need for compliance with the Standards and
Guideline of the Americans with Disabilities Act
Be able to apply ADA standards and guidelines in construction
work sites, decisions, and design phases.

The goal of the training workshop is to ensure that each participant becomes well
equipped with the tools needed to be successful.
Limit two (2) participants per company.
This training course is offered in Spanish.
