If the ascendant falls in Fixed sign (TAURUS, LEO, SCORPIO, AQUARIOUS)-9th houses will
be Badhaka sthana.
If the ascendant falls in common sign (GEMINI, VIRGO, SAGITTARIOUS, AND PTSCES)--7th
will be the Badhaka sthana.
MARAKA STHANASWhatever be the sign in which the ascendant falls - 2 and 7 houses are the Maraka
sthanas.
Therefore it becomes imperative to judge all these three houses-ASCENDANT- BADHAKA
AND MARAKA and find out the significations for assessment of ones longevity.
K.P RULES1)IF THE SUB LORD OF THE ASCENDANT OR THE STAR LORD , IN WHICH STAR, THE
ASCENDANT SUB LORD IS POSITED,--A) Is the significator of 6 or 8 or 12--SHORT LIFE IS INDIACTED (Up to 33years of life)
B) Is the signifdicator of 1 or 5 or 9-- LONG LIFE IS INDICATED (63years to 73) (except
when it is a badhaka sthana 10th house is considered for long life instead of 9th house i.e.,
10th not connected with Maraka and Badhaka sthanas).
C) is the signifucator of the above A and B groups-- MEDIUM LIFE IS INDICATED. (33years
to 63 years)
D) THE DEATH MAY OCCUR DURING THE CONJOINED PERIOD OF THE SIGNIFICATORS
OF BOTH BADHAKA AND MARAKA STHANAS.
E) If the ascendant is aspected by Jupiter or Saturn, the life span may be increased. If the
Saturn is posited in the 8th house and is in exalted position, then also the Life span may be
increased.
F) The date of death should never-repeat- never be predicted. We can say that she / he will
live for so many years.
2) ACCIDENTAL DEATH--- Sri K.S.Krishnamurthy in his book "Horary Astrology"(page
nos.158-159) explains it in his terms as "In astrology, there is nothing like 'Accident'.
Astrological dictionary does not have this word because, for every result there is a cause.
Therefore, even that which is termed by people as 'Accident' is something which happens
when least expected but not without a cause. Anything that is a surprise and an
unexpected alone is called as an accident, whether the result is favorable or not."
Therefore, the sub- lord of the 8th house is to be deposited in the constellation of the planet
which is the significator of the 8th house.
If the sub lord of either the Ascendant or the 8th house cusp is posited in the star of the
occupant or the owner of the 8th or 12th house, there will be an accident.
1) If the significator happens to be also the significator of the 6th house as dusthana, which
also signifies accident, then he will have fever, etc., following the accident.
2) If the same sub lord is in the star of a planet who is also is the significator of the 12th, he
will be admitted in a hospital.
3). The danger of the individuals life becoming fatal is likely if the sub lord is in the star of
either the occupant or the owner of the 8th, 7th, or 2nd.
4). The individual will survive the accident if the sub lord is in the star of either the
occupant or owner of the 2nd, 7th, and 11th.
5) If the sub lord happens to be the significator of Badhaka sthana and Maraka sthana, he
will succumb to death by accident, provided his longevity is not further more promised.
6) Accident will occur during the conjoined periods of dasa - bukthi- antara of 4-8-12 sub
lords.
All the three, that is Star, sub and sub sub lord have to signify the relevant houses of 2,7,12
for death and also 8th for accidental death.
OTHER RELEVENT HOUSES CONNECTED WITH DEATH--1) Rising sign at birth time also play an important role. People born in Aries ascendant are

the most prone to accidents, than Virgo born natives. Aries lagna born natives have excess
of energy which they cant control. Aries is impulsive and fast. Pisces ascendant born
natives are also prone to accidents as they cant take decisions quickly due to their weak
reflex action. Libra ascendant born natives are well balanced and hence they are not
generally prone to accidents. The signs most prone to accidents are in fact the mutable
signs; these are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces. The Jupiter ruled signs Sagittarius
and Pisces, commonly indicate careless accidents, and the Mercury ruled signs Gemini and
Virgo are prone to diseases of the mind. In short, natives born with Ascendants in the fixed
signs (Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius) are less prone to accidents. They do not like changes,
experimentation and hence they follow a fixed routine which probably is the reason.
2) Planets in the chart Mars and Saturn Rahu Ketu are associated with Accidents.
Mars is the symbol of getting hurt. Mars is the lord of blood and violence, firearms,
explosives, weapons.
Rahu gives sudden events in life. So it represents suddenness/sudden accidents in life.
Venus signifies vehicles and so it is important when it comes to accidents by vehicle.
Saturn is responsible for the accidents occurred by iron or machines and animals.
Moon is responsible for the accidents happened by water. Ketu in the 8thth house causes
accidents.
Mercury rules transport in our immediate environment including bikes, scooters, cars, etc.
For any immediate transport accident we look to Mercury, Gemini, or the 3rd house. For
long distance travel we look to Sagittarius, Jupiter or the 9th house.
The position of Uranus and Neptune is also said to be vital when it comes to
accidents. Uranus is the planet of surgery and sudden accidents. Usually accidents are of a
freak or unusual nature. Uranus in the first house seems to attract accidents. Neptune
indicates drowning accidents
3) Terminal houses-We know that the 8th, 12th and 4th houses are most important in a
lacerating the secrets of death. Because they are the Terminal Houses or karmic houses, the
Fourth, Eighth and Twelfth, corresponding to the Emotional Triplicity of Signs, are
concerned with the three most mysterious phases of life; the Fourth- the end of physical
man; the Eighth- the liberation of his soul; the Twelfth- his secret aspirations and his
disposition in the after-world.
The terminal houses of the 4, 8 and 12 houses emerge as vital to our growth as human
beings. They are the houses of Cancer (4th), Scorpio (8th) and Pisces (12th). They are
terminal only in the fact that you will be working consciously daily, on whatever emotional
wounding (provoking emotions) you have in this lifetime. It is a house of water and
therefore, symbolizes our emotions.
4) Western Aspects play a vital role in this aspect also. Saturn and Pluto, along with Mars,
Uranus, Rahu and Kethu are the universal significators and the Opposite (180 degrees),
Quincunx (150 degrees distance), Square (90 degrees distance), Semi Square (45
degrees) and Sesquiquadrate(135 degrees) aspects between these two(SAT & PLUTO)
planets and other malefics play a vital role in the case of the accidental death.
ANALYSIS OF THE CHARTS--1) WIFE-Mrs Satyavathi--A) LONGIVITY-the lagna of this native falls in CANCER sign-4th in the natural zodiac- one
of the terminal group of houses. 11th house is the badhaka sthana for this sign and its lord
is Venus.
The lagna sub lord is Jupiter. Jupiter signifies 6 at its star (Kethu) level and 8 and 12 at its
sub lord (Saturn) level. It also signifies 9th at star level, and 7th (maraka ) at sub level.
Jupiter co rules 11- badhaka house and 7th- maraka house.
Thus Jupiter signifies - more of the first group of houses that is 6, 8 and 12 along with 7th
maraka and 11th - badhaka houses.
It also signifies 9 and 5 of second group of houses as co ruler.

This indication of both the groups with more of first group of house clearly gives a picture of
only SHORT Life i.e. to say up to 33 years of life.
Note- the native lived up to her 28th year (1976 to 2004).
On further analysis, the following additional points are also observed-1) Lagna lord Moon is placed in 12th cusp in the company of Saturn- lord of 7( maraka)
and 8(house of death). Both Moon and Saturn are aspecting 7th house directly by their
most malefic 7th aspect.
2) Moon is placed in Saturn star - signifying 7, 8 &12 maraka houses.
3) Moon is in Jupiter sub signifying 6, 8, 7 and 12 indicating short span of life.
4) The Cancer lagna cusp falls in MOON SGL-MECRURY- STL- JUPITER-SBL.
Moon and Jupiter are already discussed above.
Mercury, the star lord, is the lord 3 and 12 placed in 9th cusp- Aries a movable and fiery
sign and lord of Gemini- a mutable sign. Aries is being aspected by Uranus directly by 7th
aspect. Uranus shows suddenness of exit of the native from life.
2) ACCIDENTAL DEATHThe native died in a ghastly car accident at the age of 28th year while travelling from
Tirupathi to Bangalore during night time.
As per the K.P rule - 8th cusp sub lord in the native's chart is Mercury - a functional
malefic as lord of 3 and12.
Mercury co rules 2nd - maraka house, and 8th - house of accidents and one of the houses
of terminal group.
Mercury is in Mars sign lord- Kethu star lord and Moon sub lord.
--Mars the sign lord is the lord of 10th (karma sthana) is placed in Gemini sign (mutable
sign) but in 11th cusp- badhaka sthana.
Mars aspects 6th cusp (dusthana) by 7th aspect, 7th cusp -maraka house by 8th aspect
left a great malefic impact on the native influencing the act of death in sudden and violent
manner.
--Kethu star lord is placed in 9th cusp in the company of Mercury (lord 3 and 12), Jupiter
(lord of 6) and aspected by Uranus and thereby gave sudden and violent death by car
accident. It can be noted that Kethu is in Venus star signifying vehicle - car.
---Moon the sub lord has already been discussed above. It signifies 6,8,7 and12 houses

II) Analysis of the Chart Mr.MADHAVA SWAMY-HUSBAND1) LONGEVITY--The lagna of this native falls in Leo sign- a fixed one. 9th is the badhaka sthana for this
lagna and its lord is Mars. The lagna lord Sun is placed in 2nd cusp (Libra) - maraka
sthana.

A municipal corporation poll may be the undoing of the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance in Maharashtra. The strained relationship between the two parties ran into more trouble yesterday after
Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray threatened to pull out of the alliance and Maharashtra CM
Devendra Fadnavis retorted, saying BJP will not be intimidated by threats.
Differences between the parties spiked ahead of the Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation
(KDMC) elections. The Indian Express reports: "It was set in motion after senior Shiv Sena
minister Eknath Shinde submitted his resignation as guardian minister of Kalyan and
Dombivali to Thackeray on Friday. However, Thackeray rejected the resignation and publicly
warned the BJP to shed its political arrogance. In turn, Fadnavis, who addressed a party rally in Kalyan Friday, told the Sena not to undermine the BJP and that his party was not
wearing bangles.
Trouble started brewing when BJP began campaigning aggressively for the civic elections in
Mumbai's suburbs, where the Sena is contesting in 122 seats. Anxious about not letting BJP
take over the local bodies in Maharashtra - traditionally Sena strongholds - the party started
pointing an accusing finger at BJP's failures in governance. The latter hit back at Sena too,
accusing them of misconduct. They also traded accusations of their respective cadres attacking the other.

Recently, one of my friends gave me Birth Detail of a baby and asked me to see whether
there is any malformation of the native by going through Krishnamurthi Padhdhati, which
has been given amazing revelations according to my friend. When I prepared the natal

Signs and Symptoms of the defect
Imperforate anus is a birth defect that occurs in about one of every 5,000 newborns. It is
somewhat more common in boys than girls and may include a single abnormality or a
combination of abnormalities of the rectum and anus. The rectum is the end of intestine
that connects with the anus and the anus is the body's opening to dispel solid waste.
Although there is no known cause for this condition, there are many forms of this birth
defect, including:
The absence of an anal opening.
An anal opening in the wrong position, usually a very small opening.
An abnormal connection or opening, called a fistula, between the rectum and the
urethra, bladder or vagina.
In girls, the rectum, urethra and vagina can join together to form a single opening.
This is called a cloaca and is very rare.

Many children with these
malformations are said to have an Imperforate Anus because they have no opening where
the anus should be. Although the term may accurately describe a child's outward
appearance, it often belies the true complexity of the malformation beneath. When a
malformation of the anus is present, the muscles and nerves associated with the anus often
have a similar degree of malformation. The spine and urogenital tract may also be involved.
With the success of my initial checking as above, my further analysing ran as below using
fundamental principles of Krishnamurti Padhdhati.
Rules followed
If Lagna Sub Lord signifies 6th and 1st, the native has the proneness to suffer from
diseases.
The 6th cusp is the house for diseases.

If the Sub Lord of the 6th Cusp be the significator of 6 or 8 or 12 and connected
with 1st, the Native may suffer from diseases. (Horoscope and Disease by C.R.
Bhatt).
The disease and the affected area or the part of the body is under the control of
the Star Lord of 6th Cuspal Sub Lord.
Analysis
The horoscope under reveal, the Cuspal Sub Lord of 1st is Saturn in 1 (Self) owns 6
(disease), & 7 in the Star of Sun in 11 (recovery from disease), owns 1 (Self), in the Sub
of Mercury in 12 (Hospitalization), owns 2 & 11 (recovery from disease).
The 6th Cuspal Sub Lord Moon is in 3 (Away from home), owns 12 (Hospitalisation) in
the Star of Saturn-Anuradha (Governs Bladder, Rectum, Genital Organs) in Scorpio
Sign owns by Mars in the Sub of Kethu signifies 5 (Cure from diseases) & 11 (Recovery
from diseases).
As Sub of 6 (Disease), 8 (Surgery) & 12 (Hospitalization) Moon depositing in the Star of

Saturn indicates there is something wrong with rectum which denotes by Scorpio Sign.
Also, Kethu being Moon's Sub Lord indicates the cure from the disease.
Dasa Analysis: At the birth, this child was passing Saturn/Kethu/Jupiter Dasa.
Saturn Dasa: Saturn is in1 (Self) owns 6 (Disease) & 7 aspects 4-8 (Surgery) &11, in the
Star of Sun in 11 (Recovery) owns 1 (Self) in the Sub of Mercury in 12 (Hospitalization) owns
2 & 11. Saturn is conjoined with Mars in 1 (Self) owns 4 & 9 aspects 5-8 (Surgery) & 9.
Saturn being the Dasa Lord at the time of birth the fatal condition could be present from
birth i.e. a Congenital Condition.
Kethu Bhukthi: Kethu is in 11 in the Star of Rahu occupies 5 in the Sub of Venus
occupies 1 and owns 3 (Away from Home) & 10. Kethu represents Mercury who occupies
12 (Hospitalization) and owns 2 & 11 (Recovery) and aspects 6 (Disease) and Saturn as
discussed above.
Jupiter Anthara: Jupiter is in 7 owns 5 (Cure) & 8 (Surgery) in the Star of Saturn
(conjoined with Mars) occupies 1 (Self) owns 6 (Disease) & 7 in the Sub of Venus occupies 1
(Self) owns 3 (Away from Home) & 10.
Conclusion
Anus is under the rule of Scorpio Sign. Mars denotes the diseases of Anus and surgeries,

Saturn indicates imperforated anus. Anuradha Nakshastra governs Rectum.

In this natal chart, Saturn being owner of 6th denotes diseases, wounds, danger and Mars
being owner of 9th (Badhaka) in conjunction make the situation complicated to some extent
and shows a surgery should be done to overcome the situation.
All above mentioned rules for diseases are satisfied in this natal chart and also Sign Scorpio
indicates Pelvic Area of the body, Planet Mars indicates Anus and surgeries, Saturn
indicates Imperforate Anus, Anuradha Nakshastra indicates the Rectum.
Considering the above planetary behaviors in the chart as well as dasa analysis above, I

Question 1: Rule for Second Marriage

I am a learner in KP astrology. The native is a deversee. (may be male or female). The native
comes for prediction for his/her second marriage. How we will proceed to answer his/her
question? Is it the similar way as if it is FIRST marriage? OR any special procedure.
Answer 1: KP rules for checking for more than one marriage
Rule 1: More than one marriage is indicated if BOTH the following two conditions are
simultaneously satisfied:
1) The sub-lord of the 7th cusp OR its star lord is deposited in a dual sign (Gemini,
Sagittarius, Pisces) OR if the sub lord of the 7th cusp is a dual planet Mercury; and
2) The sub lord of the 7th cusp is also a significator of either of the houses 2 or 11 or
both.
If any of the above two conditions is not satisfied, then second marriage is denied.
Rule 2: Second marriage is indicated if the sub lord of the 2nd cusp is also a significator of
either of the houses 7 or 11. (considering 2nd house for 2nd marriage).
Rule 3: Second marriage is indicated if the sub-lord of the 9th cusp is a significator of
either of the houses 2 or 9 or 11. (considering 9th house for 2nd marriage)
Check by ALL three rules, and then GIVE the prediction on more than one marriage.
Question 2: Grade E Significator by Conjunction/ Aspect
I want to ask for horary analysis do we have to consider the aspects of planets also other
than nodes. If sub and star lord are against an event then whether conjunction or aspects of
planets works? Plz help me solving the query.
Answer 2:
The planet is the source, constellation indicates nature of the result and the sub is a deciding factor whether the matter is favorable or not.
Grade A significator is planets in occupants stars; grade B significator is occupant of
house; grade C significator is planets in owners stars; and grade D significator is house
owner. Weak grade E significator is planets conjoined with/ aspected by the above grade
A, B, C and D significator planets, and this grade E significator is used as a last resort
when signification is not found at grade A to D level by planets occupation and ownership.
Star lord is stronger than planet and sub lord is the decider. So if sub and star lord are
against an event, then conjunction or aspects of planets (grade E significator) can not
work.

Question 4: Retrogression in Natal Charts
What is your personal experience about the retrograde planes behavior in natal charts? Especially when the current running Mahadasa or bukthi or antara lords become retrograde during
transit. Prof. Hariharan did a workshop here in Sri Lanka and I got that his experience about
this matter is bit different than Prof. KSK.
Another theory has been invented that when you are judging a natal chart for some question
if the relevant cusp's sub (natal sub) is retrograded at the moment of judgment then the matter
will not come through. For an example if you are judging a natal chart for marriage and the
7th sub (natal) is retrograded at the moment of judgment then the native will not get married
until the current running dasa is over despite 7 th sub being a significator for houses 2,7, 11.
So please share your PERSONAL EXPERIENCE about this not about what KSK has said.
Answer 4:
In natal chart analysis retrogression does not matter for DBAS lords in retrograde motion.
BV Raman had also avoided to say anything about retrogression and he didn't use it at all.
