FORWARD

It has almost become a clich and custom to initiate forward with appreciation. But one can
never thank God enough, not to talk of too much. I am therefore very grateful for the opportunity.
It is also a great grace from God to have compiled this book. He has said in his word that it is not
those that runneth but unto those he showed mercy. This has bring forth greater opportunity for
greatness.

PREFACE
In this age and at this time, work that serves as a roadmap to the kingdom of God is what
the world requires.
God has laid so many principles both written and demonstrated so as Christians to follow,
but due to the more thirst for earthly things and love for flesh, this has made man to deviate from
the real track.
It is of a good pleasure for Christians to truly follow the right part of Christ.
He is the same God yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever.

DEFINATION:

CHAPTER 1
THE WORD (THE BEST FOOD)

We are expected to feed through the Word of God , when we do so we feed on Christ. And how do we do this:
Through:
1. Hearing. (Nehemiah 9:3)
a. Hearing is likened to only smelling food.
b. You need to consume it after hearing. (Acts 17:11)
2. You need to READ the Scriptures therefore. (1 Timothy 4:13)
a. The value of a meal is not in memorizing a menu.
b. You must consume it.The Word has its effect even if we do not have it all memorized.

3. We need to study the Word of God to be intelligent Christians. (2 Timothy 2:15; 1 Corinthians 10:32)
4. We need to memorize the Word of God to be skillful Christians.
A. It is for everybody - not just children.
B. The reason for memorizing is to be equipped for Christians and non-Christians.
C. The word of God buried in our hearts is about the only weapon the Holy Spirit has when we start to get out of line. He is able to
prick our hearts and consciences through that Word.
D. It is indispensable in personal evangelism.
E. It is easy to be considered an authority on the Scriptures when you have only a few memorized.

5. We meditate on the Word of God to be spiritually fruitful Christians.

A. We are to meditate on the Word of God day and night. (Joshua 1:3)
B. Meditation is rumination. Nourishment is extracted and it goes into your life.
C. The Lord comes in the volume of the book. (Psalm 37:4)
D. Meditating on the Word transfers Christs life into ours. (John 15:5)
6. We apply the Word of God to be obedient Christians.
IMPORTANCE OF THE WORD
1. Perfect - effectively converts the soul. The Hebrew word for converting can also be translated as reviving or bringing new
life to the soul.
2. Sure - being reliable and certainmaking wise in godliness those who are of simple education because they study and trust
Gods sure Word.
3. Right - morally, practically, and universallybecause they are words from our God Who is holy, true, and always right. Hearts
in relationship with God rejoice because Gods Word shows us all that is right in living.
4. Pure - because God is pure and holy. We can trust it to lead us in purity as it enlightens our eyes in this dark, sinful world.
5. Clean - therefore will endure forever. It will never fade or diminish because of impurity. The Word is clean and it makes us
clean. The fear of the Lord comes as we read and study Gods Word gaining a deeper understanding of the awe and majesty of
God.
6. True - There is nothing false in the Word of God.
7. Righteous - There is nothing unrighteous about the Word of God.
Application: Gods word is to be desired more than anything else in this life because of the instruction it gives us as children of God.
The reward for living in obedience to walking in the way God wants us to live is peace of mind here and now while we wait for
our eternal reward in Heaven.
I. THE WORD OF GOD IS QUICK LIVING (4:12).
1. Today the word quick means fast or swift, bur when our Authorized King James Bible was translated, the word quick
meant living or alive.
2. Three times in Scripture we are told that God will judge the quick and the dead (Acts 10:42; II Tim. 4:1; I Peter 4:5).
3. The Word of God is alive. First Peter 1:23 says, Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word
of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
4. The author of the Bible is God. Thirty times in the Bible, God is referred to as the living God (cf. Hebrews 3:12; 9:14; 10:31;
12:22). God is the living God, and His Word is alive.

5. David said, For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God? (I Samuel 17:26).
6. Jeremiah 10:10 says, But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God.
7. King Darius said, I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for

he is the living God (Daniel 6:26).

8. Simon Peter said to our Lord, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God (Matthew 16:16).
9. Paul and Barnabas said to the people of Lycaonia, We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye
should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are
therein (Acts 14:15).
10. In II Corinthians 3:3, the Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of the living God.
11. In II Corinthians 6:16, Christians are called the temple of the living God.
12. In I Timothy 3:15, the local church is called the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
13. In I Timothy 4:10, the apostle Paul says, We trust in the living God.
14. In I Timothy 6:17, Paul says, Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain
riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.
15. God is alive. He is the living God, and His Word is alive.
II. THE WORD OF GOD IS POWERFUL (4:12).
1. There is a moral, spiritual dynamic in the Word of God which has the power to produce transformation in the lives of
believers.
2. First Thessalonians 2:13 says, For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God
which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh
also in you that believe.
3. in you that believe. The Word of God is powerful, but it works effectually in those that believe (cf. Heb. 4:2).
4. Matthew Henry said, When God sets it home by his Spirit, it convinces powerfully, converts powerfully, and comforts
powerfully. It is so powerful as to pull down strong holds (II Cor. 10:4, 5), to raise the dead, to make the deaf to hear, the
blind to see, the dumb to speak, and the lame to walk. It is powerful to batter down Satans kingdom, and to set up the
kingdom of Christ upon the ruins thereof.
III. THE WORD OF GOD IS SHARP (4:12).
1. Back in Bible times, men often carried swords, and they had to keep them very sharp. Our Lord said in Luke 22:36, He that
hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
2. The Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword. Ephesians 6:17 says, And take the helmet of salvation, and the
sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
3. The Word of God is incisive. It draws a sharp line between the saved and the lost.
4. It draws a sharp line between the genuine and the false.

5. In the Bible, the sword is often a symbol of the judgment of God. Our Lord said in Matthew 10:34, Think not that I am come

to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

6. Revelation 1:16 says, Out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword.
7. Revelation 2:12 says, And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword
with two edges.
8. Revelation 2:16 says, Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
9. Revelation 19:15 says, And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations.
10. Revelation 19:21 says, And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded
out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
IV. THE WORD OF GOD PIERCES (4:12).
1. J Vernon McGee said, Do you know that only the Word of God can divide the soul and spirit? You and I cannot do that.
2. There are times when the Bible uses the terms soul and spirit interchangeable, but Hebrews 4:12 tells us there is a
distinction, and only the Word of God is sharp enough to divide them.
3. It is sharp enough to divide asunder even the soul and spirit, and the joints and marrow.
4. Theologians and preachers and Bible college professors frequently debate whether man is trichotomous or dichotomous.
5. First Thessalonians 5:23 says, I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of
our Lord Jesus Christ. First Thessalonians 5:23 teaches man is trichotomous and so does Hebrews 4:12.
V. THE WORD OF GOD IS A DISCERNER (4:12).
1. The unsaved have absolutely no spiritual discernment because they are unsaved. First Corinthians 2:14 says, But the
natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them,
because they are spiritually discerned.
2. But oftentimes Christians lack discernment because they do not study the Bible (cf. Heb. 5:11-14).
3. The Greek word translated discerner is kritikos where we get our English word critical. Christians should not be
overly critical, but we do need good Biblical discernment.
4. For example, I recently read an article about Wheaton College in Illinois. Many Christian parents send their children to
Wheaton and these children get terribly backslidden. Some of them even become atheists.
5. Wheaton College endorses the theory of evolution and in many ways has become as worldly as a secular college. If parents
(and pastors) had discernment they would not promote that school.
6. We need to study the Bible in order to discern what is right and what is wrong. Second Timothy 3:16 says, All Scripture is
given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (3:16).
7. DOCTRINE What is right.
8. REPROOF What is not right.
9. CORRECTION How to get right.
10. INSTRUCTION IN RIGHTEOUSNESS How to stay right.

CHAPTER 2
VITAL THINGS TO DO BEFORE MAKING A FRIEND
A). Definition of a friend? A Friend can be define as a person whom knows, likes and trusts and an acquaintance , a person who give
assistance when needed.
B). Types: It is of two types namely:
The Good Friend
The Bad Friend.
C) Qualities of a Good Friend
1). A good friend is always a giver and not a taker Note this, you only ask what you can give to your friends and not what they can
give you. Things you can give each other:
I. A smile
ii. A meal
iii. An errand
iv. A listening ear
V. A prayer
vi. A kind word (words of exhortation)
vii. A helping hand.
2). A good friend is always loyal Loyalty is a rare commodity in todays world, but its an absolute requirement in true and abiding
friendships/ When Friends are loyal to one another, they prove themselves worthy of many. A key to being loyal is keeping a tight
rein on our tongues/ Its easy to gossip or pass judgment- its much harder to keep silent/ You will not share his /her friends
personal story without her permission. BUILDERS WITH WORDS AND NOT DEMOLISHERS THE ONLY THING THAT TAKES
AWAY LOYALTY IS ENVY. BUT TRUE LOYALTY OVERCOMES IT

3). A Good Friend is always positive a friend in need is different from a habitual winner. He thinks positively every time, all his
taught are not evil, but of good. ).
She/he Must Appreciate The Differences In Others: Variety they say its the spices of life God has created people with a variety of
personalities, talent and
interests. He/she does not despise or get jealous. Paul wrote something in 1st cor. 12;18-25 as the eye cannot do without the teeth.
You know what that means!!!!!!!
5). Tolerance: he must be able to be tolerant, no matter what came up between the two partners.
6). Honesty: the best gift one can receive from a friend is a HONEST AFFIRMATION.
7). Service: They help one another with either meal or words of encouragement.
8). Defensive: He defends you in times of trouble and tribulations and troubles.
9) Caring: This is the most vital one that almost everybody needs today. A good friend will always cares about you he does not
change his /her character towards you and other peoples feelings for you , he tries to help you and be with you.
10). A good friend gets over disagreements without getting crazy revenge.
C) QUALITY OF A BAD FRIEND
DISHONESTY
DISLOYALTY
INADEQUATE SERVICE
THINKS NEGATIVELY.
HE ONLY TAKES AND DO NOT GIVES.
THEY ARE YOUR FRIENDS ONLY WHEN THEY SEE SOMETHING TO HOLD ON.
THEY ARE DISSIMULATORS
THEY ARE TRAITORS THEY DISSAPPOINT WHEN YOU NEED THEM MOST.

THEY DO GET JEALOUS EVERYTIME

THEY POSSESS ELEMENT OF NON-CHALLANCY.
Now, the question is this DOES A GOOD FRIEND EXIST? The answer is YES, but they are nowhere to be found.
D) HOW TO CHOOSE A GOOD FREND
1. Take the time to think about what a true friend means to you its not as obvious as you may think/ You may need someone
whos artistic and creative
while someone else need a person who loves to be active.
2. Pay attention to your comfort level when you are with a person a true friend will makes you feel at ease. Someone who
bombards you with negative comments, critizes rather than encourages and pushes you to do things you
dont want to do will never be a good friend/
Identify you differences of opinion: argument make a healthy friendship because they force you to think differently about things.
But will all have threshold.
Notice if he /she shows concern for your well-being. thats to say they dont give you a dissertation on their life before you get a
chance to say something else. When you start talking about your problems, see if you have their full attention/ Good friends dont
let their eyes dont let their turn to gripe!
5. Be Honest About Whether Someone Can Ever Be A Good Friend : A good friend is someone who can accompany you on the
journey to personal growth. Someone who just agrees with everything you say makes you feel inadequate
D) ADVANTAGES OF FRIENDSHIP
1. HOSPITALITY
2. PROPERITY
3. PROTECTION
4. CARES AND ATTENTION
5. COMFORTABILITY
6. A HELPING HAND

CHAPTER 3

ANOINTING
Text: Joel 2 vs. 28

Definition: This can be defined as the act of being consecrated or set aside and it is a living and tangible thing that lives in us.
Terms: they include: Anoint: in Hebrew meaning Meshach which means to smear or rub with oil And implicate to consecrate for
office or religious service.
Anointed: in Hebrew meaning mashiyach meaning an act of being anointed (person)
KINDS OF ANOINTING: There are various kinds of anointing. They include:
1
The 5 fold ministry : you can be anointed in the fold as a prophet, as an apostle, as an evangelist, as a pastor, as a teacher, EPH
4:11
2
Special Anointing: there are some anointing that are special thereby consuming some other anointing these are called the gift
of the spirit.
But here I am going to discuss some of the vital parts of the importance:
They include:
1. It gives you the power to overcome the yoke of darkness thereby breaking every yoke of failure, disappointment and set back.
NOTE: IF YOU ARE ANNOINTED YOU CAN NEVER BE DISAPPOINTED
1
2
3
4

Anointing lubricate the door to facilitate easy opening.

Anointing provides spiritual stamina to keep going on in prayer.
Anointing helps you spend less time going on in prayer.
Anointing upholds your faith while other is giving up> the anointing on your faith will override their doubt.
PURPOSE OF ANNOINTING

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

To enable you to preach the good news.

To have the power to be effective witness.
To be the breaker of the dents yoke in the lives of bound up people.
To heal the broken hearted and To proclaim the lords favour and grace.
To proclaim liberty to the captures
To set at liberty those who are oppress 2kings 4:18-19.

SIN AND ANOINTING

Christians today argue that in spite of Samsons immoral act, the anointing continues to flow. HOW TRUE IS THAT? The
anointing is divine electricity. It obeys almost all known laws of physics on electricity. If a piece of wire is full of electricity, whoever
touches it dies, but if that same live wire is covered by a piece of rubber called emasculator, irrespective of the level of the current
it is carrying, a child can play with it without getting hurt.
BIBLE REFRENCES
Romans 6 vs. 12,
Prov 31 vs. 3,
Prov 6:26.
When you learn to stand in his presence for long and fill your glory container, anyone who lives or tries to touch you with any
evil intention could die. Die to your flesh so that spirit can live in you. Lev 20:26 the level of the sin in your life limits the size of
your glory container.
NOTE: The anointing of the anointed speaks vengeance on the enemies of the anointed. Psalm 104 vs. 14-15
HOW CAN YOU RECEIVE THE ANOINTING OF GOD
Obeying his will >>> john 8:29
Avoid sin
If you desire to be a carrier of anointing or a high tension anointing, you must adequately prepare yourself through
REPENTANCE and quality worship in his presence.

They should know that:

Anointing is not a supernatural power given to human by which they are able to perform miracle.

Anointing cant be transmit by any means e/g laying hands.act:19

By holy spirit
By oil.
I. True anointing is the power and influence of the holy spirit saturating a person and what affects this is your foundation of
holiness and is done by GOD.matt3:16, act 1 vs 8, 1cor 2:12, rom8:15
ii. Anointment by oil>>> this is done by priest.

YES, we all have anointing because there is something we call. INDIVIDUAL ANOINTING.
Text: 1 john 2:27, 1 john 4 :4.
Everybody have an anointing abides in you because there is a purpose to overcome the world but anointing does not works for
everybody.

Blessing
Protection
Empowerment

1. Father, I desire your high level, high tension anointing to break every yoke of failure and yoke of darkness in my life. AMEN.

CHAPTER4
GRACE

Definition: This can be defined as a free gift of nature given out without any work. God is the one that gives out grace to mankind;
by his grace we do all things. Also defined as a free unmerited favor to unmerited men.
Biblically we have so many people that lived under the grace of God. I would only made a little references back to them,
Lot: he found favor from the authorities in Sodom, u see that in Gen chapter 19 verses 19.
Jacob: he found favor from Esau , see also Gen 32 ;5
Joseph : found favor from his master , Gen 47 : 29
Ruth: found favor from Boaz, that you see in Ruth 2 : 10
David from Jonathan ( I Sam 20: 30)
Esther from king Ahaswerus (Esther 2: 17)
And all others ( gen to rev)
Today; Grace as become the USED, much MISUSED, and much ABUSED
Word /concept/ though its been given to everybody, but the usage differs and
How it works.
CASE STUDY: AHAB AND DAVID
They both committed different sin, and they receive different punishment, but looking critically about the PUNISHMENT, God
blessed the generation of DAVID and cause that of AHAB, yet no one can question him as he said I show mercy upon those I will
show mercy upon. This implies Grace can be meant for everybody but the way it works differs, there is level of growth in individual
grace. God is not interested in the level of a mans sin, though its not advisable to dwell in sin, and also very difficult to dwell
without sin, its only the Grace of God.

Its so unfortunate today that even the believers and the unbelievers, faithful and the unfaithful claim they all have grace, people
are dwelling in sin, dyeing in sin and yet we still relax we have A GOD FATHER (another definition of grace: the Godfather of all
sinners) we are so comfortable in sin because Grace is sure .that was why I defined it as a misused and abused concept.
A man once asked a question that cans a man dwell without sin. If NO is grace the answer to dwell without sin? Hmmmm! I know
you have an answer to that in your mind.
ADVANTAGES OF A USED GRACE
The main purpose why Grace was invented in Christians life was to: Justifies them from sin: in the book of 1 timothy chapter 5 vs.
24, god said some sins are hidden and some revealed, when grace is been used properly, some sins will be overlooked and forgiven.
There will be reduction in the level of punishment.( Romans 5 :12) It brings communication to God: as in the book of revelation 22
verse 21, it said but not for the work you have done or yet to do, but because he has said it to be so/ So you see00000/ Thats why
some persons will say, he doesnt attend church, mosque, yet his prayers are been answered, its not his kindness but GRACE OF
GOD
TYPES OF GRACE

THE COMMON GRACE. This type of grace is the grace thats given generally to everybody , its given by God to all humanity, act of
waking us up, food, shelters, clothings and the rest matt 5 vs/ 45/ Even sinners receive this grace, even when they dwell in total
sin. This is given by god and bestows upon the sinner to restrains his judgment upon sinful men, giving them the opportunity to be
saved. Rom 2 vs. 4

THE EFFICACIOUS GRACE: This is the work of Holy Spirit, given to some separate people to acquire salvation, forgiveness, and
freedom from sin. The question is this do men posses this? yes but not all men, God on his part separates the anointed pastors,
ministers of Gods word to have a distinct authority, powers of healings, adequacy of greatness and the rest but today so many
pastors had used this as a caricature of craziness and nonsense, whereby pastors preach do what I say and not what I do, because
they practice adultery, fornications, smoking, fake prophecies and the rest The sufficient Grace a man can have is JESUS. I pet 4
vs10, when you have Jesus; you are totally free from sin. Being a Christian does not guarantee you of Jesus; its your total
acceptance, calling him your personal lord and savior.
In conclusion, tyres are meant to be in vehicle to serve as a locomotors, moving the vehicle to and fro, NOTE, until the engine
starts, or the body of the vehicle is pushed, the tyre will remain there and not functioning. Grace is supposed to be functioning in
Christians life today, but unfortunately no, the only software you can use to make it function is RIV (resisting the inevitable) which
is SIN.

CHAPTER 5:
LIVING A MEANINGFUL LIFE
INTRODUCTION: Has your life becomes: a. Dull? b. Boring? c. Routine?
Life is full of routines like sleeping, eating, and working with occasional landmarks such as marriages, births, and death, seasons and years come and go. Even
special events come like holidays and vacations can become repetitious, less exciting and meaningful as we grow older. So how we now live a meaningful life?
THREE COMMON APPROACHES: There are three common approaches that consume most of the time, talents and energy of our waking hours.
A. THE PURSUIT OF MATERIAL THINGS: The whole world wants the latest cars, clothes, houses, and electronic gadgets. the book of I timothy 6 vs. 7 has turn to a
forgone alternative in the dictionaries of Christians today. Biblical references : ECCL 15 VS 19 JOB 27 VS 19 PS 49 VS 17 JOB 1 VS 21 ECCL 5 VS 15 PROV 27 VS 24
PROBLEMS ATTACHED OR ENCOUNTERED WHEN PURSUING EARTHLY THINGS
1. Possession tends to Poses the Possessor
The more you have the more there is much to take care of and worry about, then limited or no time would be given to God.
2. Things and wealth that are accumulated are left behind when death occurs ,the bottom line is that man enters this world with nothing and takes out nothing out of it,
so it is never said or true that the one that dies with most things win.
B. THE PURSUIT OF PLEASURES
Christians experience this to experience life to the fullest/ What does it profit a man to gain this world and losses his
soul/life/ Pleasures like travelling, sexual intercourse, drugs, and different forms of entertainment. There is no lasting satisfaction in this and it leads to frustration.
Note: a full life cannot be measured by the quantity but rather the quality of ones relationship with others and God/ King Solomon had everything, but at the end he
regret before discovering that all he had done are meaningless and regarded them has vanity and just like chasing after wind. Eccl chapter 1 and 3, the 13, 14, and its
12 verses.
C. THE PURSUIT OF LEAVING A LEGACY : everyone is running up and down to make sure , people speak of him, he is known everywhere even when not recognize by
God. They go all round doing unlawful things just to make money so as to make name.
The only key to live a full meaningful life is:
1. Discovering a relationship with God through believing his son Jesus Christ.
2. Following him on amazing adventure through a life of faith Matt 6 vs. 33.
3. Making others life around meaningful through you.

CHAPTER 6
A GOOD NAME
Text: Eccl 7 vs. 1
Prov 22 vs. 1
Terms
Good :pleasant, nice, favorable, and attractive
Name identity
A good name, they say is rather to be chosen than a great riches and precious
ointment/ The Yorubas will say oruko rere osan juju wura ati fadaka lo/
ATTRIBUTES OF A GOOD NAME
1. Ability To Take To Instruction And Correction: john mason once said that the easiest way to escape destruction is by taking to instruction. To
have a good reputation you must be a doer of Gods word and not the
hearer alone, keep his commandments and do his will, so when you are life and even gone, men will speak of good work of Christ in you. Bible references
Prov 12 vs 1, 15:32, 1:3, 3:11, 4:1 Job 5 vs 19
2. Honesty: transparency is the best language to approach understanding, no one goes up with falsehood and stay long, Haman lied to the king to , have a
good name in the community and before the king. But at the end he was destroyed. Dishonesty affects your dignity and gives you a new identity. Bible
references Eph 4 :25 Phil 4 :8 Col 3:9 I thes 5 : 22
3. Keep Your Tongue : what comes out of you give you a name, if you are the type that talks so much ,it may be said that you are loquacious, if your words
are funny, you may be tagged a comedian and if you are that type that say derogatory words, I know you have a name to that. Watch out of the things that
comes out of your mouth. Bible references Prov 15 : 1, 21:23, 4: 23 Exod 20 :7 Eph 4 : 29 Col 3 : 28, James 3 :5
4. Determination: I timothy 4 vs 12 to 14 : let no man despise thee, but be rather an example the way you dress is the way you will be address, to
possess a good name, you need to be determination, let your yes be yes and vice versa
5. Humility: the level of your humility determines your productivity. Christ publish good name today not because he was only the son of God but because
he humble himself even with all powers he had. Bible references 1 pet 5vs. 3 8 Prov 18: 12 Prov 22: 4

6. Fear God: the fear of |God is the beginning of wisdom and its wisdom to direct your part and lead to a right place. Bible references Prov 1: 7 Eccl 12: 13
Psalm 111: 10 Prov 8: 13.
STAINS OF A GOOD NAME

When a seed is been planted is either it bring forth Good fruit or Bad fruit, depending on the nature of the seed. The scripture as declared it that
whatever a man sowed he reaped.
However, the germination of seed requires a lot of things , scientifically, the sunlight, oxygen, chlorophyll est. so as to be a good product of good name at
the end of your life you need to emulates so many factors you can get little from Galatians chapter five verse twenty two ;
a. Love
b. Joy
c. Peace
d. Gentleness
e. Meekness
f. Temperance
g. Goodness. Dear reader, like I said a good name is better of riches, cultivate a good habit. Your identity determines your dignity.

CHAPTER 7
EXAMINE YOUR WAYS
TEXT: LAMENTATION 3 VS 40 Haggai 1 vs. 7
God has not willingly afflicted us, but what brings affliction is our ways with him (lamentation 3 vs. 33).
TYPES OF CHRISTAINS
a. The Dead Christian: they are the type that go to church and may even claim to follow Christ, but hasnt truly come to him for
forgiveness/e/g youths, women and men in churches today( members)
b. The Bound Christian: this is a type of Christian who is alive in Christ but is bound by sin and this hinders his relationship with the
lord. E.g. prophets and pastors
c. The Loner Christian: this is a type of Christian they are alive in Christ and enjoys fellowship with God. His life is full of blessings
but keeps this himself (by words and not actions).
d. The Complete Christian: this is alive in Christ, has a strong relationship with God and his blessing to everyone around him. He
poses a lot of characteristics like: holiness, perfection, a Godly character, a good name, and lots more stated in exodus 23 vs. 1 to 9.
In conclusion examine your ways today, if there are some things you doing that its not pleasing in the eyes of God/ Repent for the
kingdom of God is coming soon and he will judge everybody according to his works, recall if a man way pleases God he shall make
all his enemies to become his friends, do that which is right in the presence of god. And you shall remain bless.

Definition : This is an act of being identified by consecration, sanctification, and baptism.

Text: 2 Cor 5 vs 17,

Eph 5 vs 17, 1 thes4 vs 7,2tim 2 vs 22.

NECESSITY OF HOLLINES

1
GOD IS HOLY: a man must be holy as our creator; holiness they say is a symbol of Godliness. For a complete Christianity,
holiness is necessary and best required. See 1 peter chapter 1 verse 14.
2
GOD DEMANDS HOLINESS: its a command from God, to be named a child of God, obeying his commandment should be our
first aims and objectives, and he said if you love you keep my commandment. See Ephesians chapter 1 verse 4 and 15.stian ,
3
YOU CAN SEE GOD WITH HOLLINESS: God is holy and he that must work with him must be holy, and as a Christian, a Christ
like, you have to do the thing he does. Heb 12 vs. 14.
WHAT IS HOLLINESS TO A CHRISTIAN?

Holiness is not weakness :( Luke 2 vs. 40 , Joshua 1 vs 6-9, 1sam 3 vs 19)

Holiness is not slow in Speech : ( 2peter 3vs 11)
Holiness is not in cloth, food nor is it outwardly show : ( lev 20 vs 7)
Holiness is having zeal for God
It is a pure in heart ( psalm 24 vs. 4)
Holiness is not pretence
HOW TO BE HOLY

1
Give your life to God: you must have a total rebirth in Christ, accept him as your personal lord and savior, confess your sins
and he shall make you holy by his grace and mercy.
2
Seek the spiritual gift and his fruit : the best gift a man can have is the spirit of God, psalm 51 verse 10 said create in me a
new heart and renew a right spirit within me , when the spirit of God dwells in you, you will be holy in Christ.
3
Put off the old man: old things are passed away and new things have come, forget the past, come unto him his ready to make
you holy and upright in his prescience

Emulates his doings.

CHAPTER 9
THE SOURCE OF UNSTOPPABLE BLESSING FOR GODS CHILDREN
Text:

3john 1: 2
Nehemiah 13: 10 12.

Blessings are good and they make the heart fat and joyful. Blessings call for laughter; it brings about promotion, and
development of individual, society and surroundings. The plan of God to everyone is that they should prosper and be in good health
with all his wonderful promises.
God is the only source of unstoppable blessing, it comes from his side and he gives it out to which his soul desires.
CHARACTERISTICS OF GODS BLESSING
1
Availability. Its always available for men ,but only when they are ready to receive it. He gives it out to them.
2
Sufficiency. Gods blessing is so sufficient, he said whosoever eat out of this bread will never go hungry, if you have his
blessing his glory will be sufficient in your life and you shall never lack.
3
Durability: his bless is durable, men will see it, he said Arise and shine for the glory has come and men shall testify/
4
Palatability: the sweetest thing a man can have is the blessings of God, it liberates you from poverty.
5
Affordable: to acquire the blessings of the darkness, so many sacrifices are made, killing of humans est., but in his case the
blessing is so cheap, it gives it out without any killing.
6
Everlasting: it last long
7
Reliable: there is an assurance of greatness.
PRINCIPLES OF GODS BLESSING
1
Fear him and obey him: the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, as long as you can fear him by obeying his
commandments its then you can acquire his blessings. Deuteronomy 28 verse 1 said and only if thou obey, this implies that if you
fear him and obey him, his blessing is sure for you.
2
Serve him: job 36 verses 11 said it, if thou shall obey me and serve me, you will use your days in pleasure and prosperity.
Serve him with your whole heart and you see his blessing working for you.

1.

Pay up your vows

Pay up your tithe: this is our one-tenth part of our increase; it should be made continually and regularly. When you do this,

2.
God can never deprive you of his blessing.

Giving: the secret of receiving is by giving, givers never lack and lackers also never give. A bountiful giving brings forth a huge
blessing as in the case of 2Corithians 9 verses 6. THINGS THAT STOPS GODS BLESSING

My dear reader, you are not blessed today, because God cant bless, but you refuse to be bless/ He said my hands are not
shortened to save, his ready to save you, resist the sin, the things that are bad in the sight of God and he will blesses you richly and
abundantly.

CHAPTER10
THE GREATNESS OF GOD
DEFINATION: Greatness is defined as having a great quality and deserving honor.
God is so great that even the living creatures are mystery in the eyes of men. :
1. The birds; no one knows the way they fed, and no food bank that produces food for them.
2. The plants; it grows in a way no man can talk about, can only be assumed.
3. The humans; there is breath, protection, grace and eternal life.
THE SUPREMACY OF GOD
1
He is a perfect man: he is the only man that is impeccable, a man with no blame, he never fails, neither disappoints. He never
do mistakes, even you see his doings as mistakes, the mistakes is still a miracle. He is awesome.
2
He is supernatural: he is an invisible God, yet he does visible things, he controls the physical and natural things. he changes
not.
3
He has the final say : he is the protocol of all protocols, judge of all judges, decision of all decisions, when he speaks no one
suggests, he propose no one dispose, and yet he can still dispose and nobody can propose. He is wonderful.
4
He is God of all powers: he has the power over all the powers beneath and over the earth. He controls them, and decides
which to work.
5
He is a creator that was not created: Yet he created things. that no one could create.

The greatness of God differs from that of men; he is able to do all things request of him/ Thats why he is God/ The greatness is
meant to be showered on men, but yet some selected persons are seeing or experiencing the greatness. Now who can be a
beneficiary of his greatness, I will list just 8 eight here, work towards them And you start seeing his greatness:
1. An obedient child
2. A faithful child
3. A Godly being
4. An inseptical man
5. A non rebellious child
6. A man with clean heart
7. A lovely man
8. He who abstains from the fruit of flesh.
My friend, it is the glory of God in you that make you glorious, without the glory in you glory, there can never be glorious glory. See
him, do his will and you see greatness knocking at your door. He is the only one that can save you. No one can do that. He is the all
in all.

CHAPTER 11
FAILURE AND YOUR ATTITUDE
Failure can either be an intimidator or a motivator. It is all about your attitude when you fail will determine whether you will
ever rise or not.
ATTITUDE LIST
1. Failure is not new, I could continue to fail
2. Even successful people had failed
3. I doubt if I can ever make it again
4. Everyone is falling around me
5. This is a demonic attack.
Looking at biblical standard, Joseph dreamt of greatness, but shortly after that every event pointed out to the contrary.
-His brothers hated him
-They sold him to the Ishmaelite
-He was falsely accused
-They throw him to the pit
-He was dumped in the dungeon
Despite the downward trend of events, he continued to believe his dreams until the prison became the gate to the palace. your
present predicament will take you to your palace.
THE CAUSES OF FAILURE
Most of time, pre occupy our mind with (how people succeed) and forget reasons why do they fail : I will categorize these causes
into five named below:
Note: there are some failures that are negotiations, to test for
1. Self made
faith and steadfastness.
2. Man made
However, whichever category of failure you experiencing, there
3. System made
is always a brighter future waiting for you. Just check for task
unperformed and then connects God for your success.
4. Satanic made
5. God made. Discussing them one after the other:

SELF MADE
A failure is self made if it rises from your inability to do what you are supposed to do or expected of you. When a man fails to plan
definitely, he fails, a man that do not sow certainly can never reap, and the one who fails to invest surely can never harvest. To
overcome this category, work on yourself.
MAN MADE
This is a type of failure is engineered by men. Take for an example, students fail today not because they were not brilliant, but
because the lecturer decides to fail them. When men constitutes a clog in the wheel of your progress, it only takes God to take you
off.
SYSTEM MADE
This is a failure inherent in families. So many people are suffering today not because they are not struggling but because there is a
laid down cause or bad omen in the family thats affecting the whole family, so any child thats born into the family will continue
with it. But I declare aas you read this today every inherited poverty, every inherited setbacks in your family affecting you I reject
them for you today. Say amen
SATANIC ATTACK
Failures arising from satanic attacks defy popular success strategies. Victims only discover that nothing works despite being
hardworking. To every new glory, there is a new devil. But it is as been said that after today every arranged darkness to take away
your light shall be wipe off in Jesus name ( AMEN). Sometimes the pedigree of your spiritual responsibility can attract demonic attacks.
The glory of God in you is an attraction , that needs only Gods intervention to take you off destruction.

GODS SENT FAILURES

This is the mother of all failures. It is a failure orchestrated and monitored by God himself. The kind of failure has no remedy in
man except a return to the lord. God may approves of failures for an individual if :
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

He contravenes or violates standing order. An example is balaam seen in the book of Numbers 22 vs. 12,32,33
He refuses to obey simple spiritual laws. Seen in Malachi 3 vs. 8 -11
He fails to be willing and obedient
He prefers his personal plan to divine instruction
He deliberately flouts and disobeys privilege assignment.

CHAPTER 12
GREATNESS

Definition: it is a concept of a state of superiority affecting a person , object or place , a natural ability to be better than all others.
STEPS TO GREATNESS
1. DEFINITE PURPOSE
2. A BURNING DESIRE
3. WRITTEN GOALS
4. ATTITUDE
5. COMMUNICATION SKILLS
6. ACCEPT TRUTH
7. TAKE ACTION
8. OBTAIN OPTIMUM HEALTH
9. KEEP GOOD RECORDS
10. BE FOCUSED
11. PAY 10% OR MORE TO CHARITY
12. ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY
13. FACE FEAR FEARLESSLY
14. ASK FOR WHAT YOU WANT
15. CHANGE YOUR THOUGHT
It is said that knowledge is power, the secret of what made Moses greater than all of Israel combined is hidden in psalm 103 vs.
7; you will discover the true secret of greatness today in the mighty name of Jesus. (Amen)
Diligence is a key to greatness; however is not a major key, because it subjects to the mercy and sovereignty of God.
Bible references
Proverbs 22: 29, Hebrews 11:6, Romans 9: 15, Genesis 48: 12 20, Deut 33; 17, Luke 5 vs. 1 -7, Prov 10:2 2.
Gratitude to God is the major key to greatness, it ensure promotion and abundant gratitude ensures unique greatness.

Bible References
Psalm 108 vs. 1-3, 1Sam 16 : 1-3, Jeremiah 33 : 20 -21 , 2Chronicles 7 : 5.
Greatness is not elusive , greatness can be attained by all but one must know the path , process or formula to achieve it. After
a great deal of thought and many hours of conversation with friends, I have developed a formula to achieve greatness.
GREATNESS EQUATION.
C1 + C2 +C3+C4+C5 ,WHERE C1 REPRESENTS CHOICE
C2: CLARITY +C3: CONVICTION +C4. COMMITMENT +C5: COURAGE.
Choice: it serves as the driver of greatness. When we choose or select greatness, they have made a conscious decision.
means that one has decision that chance will not play a part in life. They made a choice to be great.

This also

Clarity: it means that one is clear to their journey. They have an understanding that they want to be great. They have clarity of
purpose, clarity of mission, clarity of goals, clarity of plans, clarity of direction, and clarity of vision. Once this is achieved, it must be
established or act with conviction.
Conviction: it is an ingredient of attaining greatness. Having a firm belief in ones self, it is crucial in the journey to achieve
greatness/ Conviction is needed and must be absolute. Unwavering condition indicates that one is doing the right thing and is on
the right path. This conviction helps one find a new ways to ferret out new opportunities everyday to achieve greatness
commitment is also needed.
Commitment: this is needed to achieve greatness. Those who are committed to their vision create high expectations and execute
brilliantly. When pursuing greatness, commitment is the ingredient that helps one keeps his/her promises to themselves and
others.
Courage: it takes courage to act, taking actions necessary to overcome human inertia and their circumstances, real and self
imposed requires courage. Courage mandates that one make every single minute matter, while a fair amount of good old fear,
uncertainty and doubt may exist, courage enables one to ACT in spite of it.

CHAPTER 13
DRYNESS IS OVER
TEXT: REVELATION 21 VS. 4
ISAIAH 44 VS. 3
MATT 12 VS. 25
The dryness I will talk about here is not a physical dryness, but relating it to the physical dryness, it means an absence of
water where water is needed. This implies that spiritual dryness is the absence of functioning glory in the midst of success, the act
of having scarcity in surplus.
So many Christians today are experiencing this in their various life , but its not always quickly noticed, it is somehow called
an hidden cry( ekun asun pamo).

SYMBOLS OF DRYNESS

1
Stagnation : things will stop going well and fine, e.g lack of food, shelters and money. Rejection from different kinds
2
Failure : in the midst of pursuit of greatness, failure will be the front and backward. Disappointment to every appointment.
As in the case of students, you start failing the course you know too well. Reading and
forgetting, not understanding000
1
Delay: glories that meant to shine will be looking for to propel the kindling to shine, there will be a huge promise and fail.
Days will start failing weeks and months failing years.
2
Wastage: years will be wasting, glories that are meant to shine in the first month, will be waited for and at the end get tired
of. Students who is suppose to graduate will now be given a certificate of extension, studied, went for service and at the end, no job
opportunity, years are wasting.
SIGNS OF DRYNESS
1
Emptiness: a cook in an eatery will complain of hunger and a man dwelling in the river complains of thirst. A glory that is
supposed to be used will turn to a handbag following ladies up and down. It will only be carrying the glory but he/she is not using
it.
2
Weak : all helpers will turn to leper,,,,,,,,,,

CHAPTER 14

TOPIC: ANGER
DEFINATION:
1
It is an emotion related to ones psychological interpretation of having been offended, wronged or denied and a tendency
react through retaliation.
2
It is a normal, healthy response to a threat and may be used for a constructive purpose.
3
It is a corrosive emotion that can run off with your mental and physical health.

TYPES OF ANGER
1
2
3
4
5
6
7

Behavioral anger -aggressive

Passive anger-hidden
Verbal anger words and not actions
Constructive anger feelings of being fed up with how things are going.
Self inflicted anger-to punish oneself , starvation and over reacting.
Chronic anger angry for no reason.
Retaliatory anger response to someone ( it could be insult)

CAN A MANS ANGER AFFECT HIS BLESSINGS?

TEXT : EPH 4 VS 26 27
You may be angry when you seen injustice, any wrongdoing and provoked without cause ( mark 21:12 13, mark 11 :15).
But what makes a your anger a sin ?
1
let not the sun go down on your anger anger can bring forth a fruit if its not or quickly managed. Fruit which is GRUDGES
EPH 4 :31, MATT 6 : 14 -15, MARK 11 : 25)
2
NEITHER GIVE PLACE TO THE DEVIL
The sun represents the DEVIL (EVIL MIND). Though it was not stated and recorded in the scripture that anger its a sin, also it is
not
advised to get angry evrytime, moreover anger is only a sin when the devil
is being allowed to operate in the anger. Therefore brethren , one thing we should be careful of, when getting angry is the Action
and Reaction. If not properly managed, Action brings forth destruction, and the reaction can bring forth grudges and quarrelling.

Bible references
-Eph 4 : 31 -Matt 6 : 14 15 -Mark 11 : 25 -Rom 12 : 17 -21 -Eph 4 : 32 -Lev 19 : 18 -Prov 19 : 11 -Matt 5 : 22 -Psalm 37: 8 -9 -Hymn
773 vs 3 -Hymn 772 vs 4
CAN ANGER BE CONTROLLED?
Yes, because I was once a victim , and below are some control measures I used :
1. Self control the ability to control oneself, thinking before act. ( bill Crosby)
James 1 : 19
Eccl 7 : 9
Prov 15: 1
2. Walk away ( Anthony Abraham a.k.a ibeyen)
Breathe deeply ( James allien)
Go to a happy place
3. Self awareness ability to notice what you feeling and thinking
Think it through

EFFECTS OF ANGER
a. It makes people think optimistically
b. It makes people think negatively
c. It inflames the mind
d. It makes people less trusting and slower to attributes good qualities.
e. It makes people an enemy of everybody , you have limited friends ( prov 22 : 24)

CONCLUSION
Anger destroys, because so many derogatory words are pronounced, but what anger destroys can still be rebuilt, but very
hard. Everyone must see one or two things that will make him/her angry, the best thing to do is to prevent the action and reaction
that comes aftermath. Like David has said create in me a new heart and renew a right spirit within me. look at the person sitting
beside you and say to him/her OH LORD RENEW A RIGHT SPIRIT WITHIN ME AND CREATE ME A NEW HEART. SO HELP ME
GOD. (Amen)
THANKS.

Stop stinking thinking and start thinking big because a mans thought affects his character.

CHAPTER 15
BEAUTY AND CHARACTER
The two words above are impregnated with a lot of meanings. I will define it and ask a question that will
bring out the real definition. Is beauty necessary or less important than character? BEAUTY: a quality very pleases
to the eye. CHARACTER: a set of qualities that make someone different from others. Taking a look at these two
definitions you will clearly see that character
as a vital role to play than beauty. Re simplifying the definitions: -Set of qualities -Differences
1. Set of Qualities talking about this you will see:
A. good morals
B. cordial act
C. humility
D. loyalty
E. sound mind of dignity EST.
Beauty is a quality pleasing to the eyes, what does it profits a child with a good handwriting and lacks good knowledge.
Character is not an inherited virtue, good one is more to be praised than outstanding beauty. Character is doing what is right;
when nobody is looking, the Igbo people will say agwa bu mma nwanyi meaning a good character fortifies beauty.
TYPES OF CHARACTER

1. Good
2. Bad
A good character is the type one emulates and does not when people are there to look. Its also an inward value that determines
outward actions.

Characteristics of a good character

1. Adaptability
2. Authenticity
3. Conservation
4. Courage
5. Decisiveness
6. Determination
7. Diligence
8. Discernment
9. Flexibility
10. Forgiveness

22. Respect
23. Sincerity
24. Teamwork
25. Tolerance
26. Trust
27. Vision
28. Wisdom
29. Justice

THE PILLARS OF
CHARACTER

I will be talking about this one after the other so you can have a clear understanding.
1
TRUSTWORTHINESS. you dont deceive, cheat, be reliable, be honest, and build a good reputation. Be loyal, stand by your
family, friends and country.
2
RESPECT: treat others with respect, follow the golden rules, be tolerant and accepting of differences, use good manners not
bad languages, be
considerate of the feelings of others/ Dont be threaten, hit or hurt
anyone. Deal peacefully with anger, insults and disagreement.
1
RESPONSIBILITY: do what you are supposed to do, plan ahead, persevere. Think before you act. Be accountable of your
words, actions and attitudes. Set a good example for others.
2
FAIRNESS: play by the rules, take turns and share, be open minded,
listen to others/ Dont take advantage of others/ dont blame others
carelessly. Treat all people fairly.
1
CARING: be kind and compassionate, express gratitude, forgive others and help people in need.
2
CITIZENSHIP: do your share to make your school, community, church and family cooperate. Be a good neighbor, obey rules
and laws, and respect authority.

SUPERNATURAL NOURISHMENT
SUPERNATURAL: As defined Earlier its something from above, and NOURISHMENT: FOOD, So when I mean
SUPERNATURALNOURISHMENT
Am talking about the food from above that no one takes and complains of hunger.
THE BEST FOOD. Which is the word of God?
Sometimes it is called Scripture, The Holy Bible, and so on. As john as implies in chapter 1 of his book that in the beginning
as been the existence of the word, it has exist, its still existing, and will continue to exist. Digest it daily and always, and I bet with
you, YOU WILL NEVER BE HUNGRY.
METHODS OF STUDYING THE WORD
1. Pray and Seek the Spirit:
Ask Heavenly Father to help you feel the Spirit as you read the scriptures. The scriptures were given by revelation and can be
understood by revelation. When we rely on help from our Heavenly Father and the Spirit, we become humble, teachable, and ready
to learn.
2. Look at Maps
Maps can help set the stage for your scripture study. The words and stories will have more meaning if you have a better
understanding of distances traveled, climate, topography, and other prominent features of the places youre reading about. For
example, the story of Jonah in the Old Testament gains depth when we know that the city of Nineveh was located close to
modern-day Iraq and that Tar shish might have been located in Spain.
3. Look for Lists
Often a verse or verses of scripture will include a list. Once you start to recognize lists in the scriptures, you will see them often.
For example, in , Jesus has compassion on the Nephites and recognizes they are tired after a long day of listening and learning. He
gives the Nephites a list of things to do:
Go ye unto your homes, and
Ponder upon the things which I have said, and
Ask of the Father, in my name, that ye may understand, and

Prepare your minds for the morrow.

Can this list help us get more out of our attendance at Church meetings? How can doing the things on this list help us with our
scripture study? Whenever you see a list in the scriptures, write it out and see if you can apply the same steps to aspects of your
life.
4.

Look for Patterns and Repetition

When you notice a pattern or repetition in the scriptures, theres often something to be learned from it, like in the accounts of
Christs birth in the New Testament. In Matthew 2, Matthew repeats the phrase that it might be fulfilled. He focuses on how
various elements of the Saviors birth fulfilled Old Testament prophecies. Instead of creating a pattern of words like Matthew, Luke
creates a pattern of people in his account found in Luke 2, where the shepherds, Simeon, and Anna all saw and bore testimony of
the Saviors divinity.
What can we learn from these two accounts of the Saviors birth? What do you think each writer was trying to accomplish by
telling the story the way he did?
5. Look for Commandments and Promised Blessings
Often in the scriptures, when the Lord gives commandments He then tells us the blessings we will receive from keeping
them. Consider the following:
Ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you
And all saints who remember to keep and do these sayings, walking in obedience to the commandments shall receive health in
their navel and marrow to their bones
Let thy bowels also be full of charity towards all men, and to the household of faith, and let virtue garnish thy thoughts
unceasingly; then shall thy confidence wax strong in the presence of God Consider using two colored pencils as you read, marking
commandments in one color and promised blessings in another. What do you notice? How does this pattern affect your testimony
of our Heavenly Fathers love for you?

5. Look for Personal Application

Draw Nearer to God
As we engage with God in sincere prayer, read and study each day from the scriptures, ponder on what we have read and felt, and
then apply and live the lessons learned, we draw nearer to Him. Gods promise is that as we seek diligently from the best books,
[He] shall give unto [us] knowledge by his Holy Spirit.
