Design Director, Global Brands & Franchise Development, 2002-2014
Led design vision including the creation of illustration and character art styles for Warner Bros. Consumer Products creative
licensing programs, product development and retail partner programs. Oversaw internal design team and external agencies
with budgets up to $2 million. Film and television properties include Harry Potter, Happy Feet, Speed Racer, Godzilla, Wizard
of Oz, Scooby-Doo, Baby Looney Tunes, Tweety and others. Enthusiastic and conscientious leader well-respected by senior

style guide with internal/external teams. Redesigned Scooby-Doo branded global packaging. Directed style guide and
packaging for Beware the Batman animation TV series. Created multiple illustrated styles working closely with WB animation
and external design agency.

Created new character art illustration, style guide, packaging and POP for American/Japanese animated TV series, Thunder
Cats. Managed all Wizard of Oz projects including style guide, Emerald City packaging and developed 75th Anniversary logo
with WBCP marketing team. Directed internal/external designers and illustrators for Happy Feet #1 and #2 creating multiple
girl and boy programs. Presented style guide, packaging and POP to director George Miller and production team in Australia.
2008
Directed style guide, packaging and POP for live-action movie, Speed Racer written and directed by the Wachowski Brothers
(Matrix Series). Collaborated with outside agency for final style guide delivery. Six distinct graphic programs drove sales for
all categories.
2002-2006
Helped drive over $7 billion in retail merchandise sales for the Harry Potter franchise by creating new art direction and
illustration style for Harry Potter Theatrical and Literary style guides, packaging, retail signage and marketing materials. Titles
included The Prisoner of Azkaban and The Goblet of Fire
and 25 outside freelancers. Projects on time and under budget. Theatrical style guide was inspired by the WB movie art style
and the Literary style guide followed the book illustration style featuring Mary Grandpres illustrations. Collaborated with Mary
to co-create 25 additional illustrations for the Literary program.

Vice President Creative, 2001-2002
- Member of the senior management team responsible for creative/design, budgets, operations and administrative
functions for the creative division. Properties included Power Rangers, Digimon,
NASCAR Racers, Angela Anaconda and others.

- Senior management responsibilities included overseeing a staff of 20 in the creative direction of all brand identity,
product and style guide development, packaging and POP.
- Managed key relationships with licensees, retail and worldwide strategic and promotional partners for all properties.

- Helped build Power Rangers into a coveted license and money-making brand for boys by directing the creative
team in the development of a unified brand. Supported all key divisions including retail and consumer promotions

franchises. Included licensing, style guides, trade and fashion shows, events and more.
- Notable successes included establishing Classic Pooh as a top brand in mid-tier and high-end retail. Interfaced with
personnel at all levels of Disney Category and Marketing divisions.
- Developed fresh new look and graphic style for 101 Dalmatians establishing a new position in the marketplace.
Resulted in over 17,000 retail SKUs and associated sales.

- Designed and managed the development of the Spruce Goose Exhibit in Long Beach, CA. Redesigned packaging
for Hansen Sodas. Designed new Fruit juice line translating the brand into a variety of packaged items. Worked on
TV commercial concepts to support brand.
- Designed new branding for all Circle K retail stores.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Event Producer and Fundraiser for Cedars Sinai Medical Hospital, 2010-Present
Support funding for lung cancer research and educational needs. Managed and produced Art Auction fundraiser at the
Annenberg Community Center in Santa Monica, CA. Worked with Cedars Sinai Community Relations group to honor Dr. Robert
McKenna and team. Personally solicited and collected over 120 art items for auction. Resulted in $60,000 with all proceeds
going to research. Created the Kiss A Survivor brand. Collaborated with a dedicated team to raise awareness and sell products
raising $6,000 with all funds supporting research and education for lung cancer.
