The Harbours department is yet to return concerns in relation to the


designs which were submitted for review. Queries have been
submitted to the consultant for response.

The contract is now in week 3 of 3 week Extension of Time. The


contractor is still expected to make additional claims for extension of
time based on the recent weather situation. The project is still
approximately 4 weeks behind schedule but production has been
improving. The revised completion date of December 24, 2007 is
being maintained.

IMPLEMENTATION PHASE IN PROGRESS

Tenders for the completion of the Phase 3 returned return on


November 30, 2007. Evaluation of the tenders will be completed for
recommendation by December 6, 2007 for submission to the NCC by
the week of December 10, 2007.

Water and Sewerage connections

The NWC has inspected the HWT TC manholes and has approved
connection of the sewer to the NWC system. The NWC has
completed the repairs of the additional leaks reported on South
Odeon Avenue.

Cable and Wireless

Cable and Wireless has commeced the raising of the manhole


covers on South Odeon Ave. Cable and Wireless is expected to
complete the outstanding work by December 7, 2007.

Addendum 2

Works on South Odeon Avenue have commenced but is being


affected by the weather. This has affected the project duration of 3
weeks, but is being delayed by weather and works to be completed
by C&W. It is therefore expected that the projected will be delayed
by approximately 2 weeks but should be completed by mid Dec 2007.

Works have now been completed
commenced on September 7, 2007 and is ongoing pending the
handover of the warehouse by ODPEM. It was expected that the
warehouse would be available on Nov 12, 2007, however to date the
warehouse is still being used by the ODPEM. Works on the exterior
of the warehouse has however re-commenced.

Breakdown of the A/C unit was again reported by the Berth XI Ja


Customs officers on November 16, 2007. The contractor was invited
to a meeting with the consultant and APMTJ (Nov 18, 2007) to
address the issue of the frequent breakdowns. The contractor is
scheduled to conmplete outstanding requests by end Nov 2007.

Defect period for the works ended on October 19, 2007. Inspection
of the facility did not reveal any defects

Commisioning meeting was held with the contractor and consultant on


June 15, 2007, in and effort to find the cause of the poor performance of
the A/C unit. The contractor has not completed the balancing to the

of the restroom ventilation system has been completed.

made byDecember 3, 2007.

The PAJ received information from APMTJ in relation to the proposed


Berth XI new stripping station operation. Design of the casual labour
rest room see above
Quotations for the repair an d servicing of the steel roller shutters
werer returned on November 19, 2007. Recommendation to be
made by Dec 3, 2007.

FSU has commenced occupancy of the offices with the delivery of


equipment by he Minstry of Health personnel. Works on the office is
substantially complete with telephone unit being installed by the IT dept.
Connection of the rest rooms remain outstanding but will be completed
along with works for the phase Customs Offices.

The warehouse is currently being used for Hurriacne relief storage. This
aspect of the project will be delayed to commence when the warehouse
becomes available.

APM TJ has issued contract for the repair of the warehouse roof.
(damaged due to hurricane Dean). APM has advised theat the PO
for implementation has already been issued for works to commence.
The delay may be due to availablity of the roof material.

Quotation for miscellaneous item for the Millsborough Cres are being
invited. Items will be ordered for delivery on recommendation.
Request for PO delayed however PO have been requested for the
tile accessories. Additional quotes for tiling and bathroom fixtures
has been requested for return by November 19, 2007 . PO requests
have been made. Quotation for the windows and doors were
requested and selection of the window supplied completed. The
department is currently seeking approval for procurement of the tiles
and lighting fixtures. Approval is expected by Decmber 3, 2007
Delivery of tile is therefore expected by December 5, 2007.
Quotations for the A/C units and kitchen and bathroom cupboars are
expected by Decmber 5, 2007. Additional pest control service will be
required for treatment on duck ants. Roof repairs quote was
received however minimum scope will be implemented during this
week.

KCT - Straddle Carrier Workshop Extension

An effort is currently being pursued to retrofit the existing stripping
station to accommodate the additional storage. Final design
information is being awaited from the stakeholders-APM terminals

Currently an effort is being made to employ resources outside the


office to complete this task.
