NINIB: THE DEITY WE KNOW AS
SATAN?

By: THE BLACK WIDOW

When we look at Traditional/Theistic Satanism, the biggest thing

we agree upon is, that to search for the truths of Satan, the Holy
Bible is not the place to search for answers, but much older deities,
and much older paths. The particular path a great deal of Theistic
Satanists look at is that of the Sumerians, although this is not the
only culture that should be looked at for Satan's truths.
My recent work has brought me to question of whether or not the
Sumerian deity "NINIB" fits this ideology. The biggest thing that is
the question "What aspects does NINIB have that Satanists
associate with Satan", this is the first and absolute most important
question that must be answered when comparing the two for a
possible conclusion. However, this only regards to Sumerian
beliefs, other civilizations and cultures may show this same entity
in a different manner, or even a different gender all together.
Now, what are these "traits" that NINIB contains that we associate
with Satan. Well, here is the main traits of NINIB:
Patron/Spirit of the Wanderer of the Wastes,
Patron/Spirit of the Planet of Time,

Patron/Spirit of the Plane of the Hunter,

The Lord of the Dark Ways,
The Lord of Secret Passages,
Knower of the Secrets of All Things,
Knower of the Ways of the Ancient Ones,
Horned One of Silence,
Watcher of the ways of the IGIGI,
Knower of the Pathways of the Dead,
Gatekeeper of the Astral Gods,
Master of the Chase and the Long Journey,

His Gate is the Seventh and final Gate of the ZONEI called
ADAR, known as:
Gate of the Double-Horned Elder God,
Gate of the Last City of the Skies,
Gate of the Secret of All Time,
Gate of the Master of Magickal Power,
Gate of the Lord of All Sorcery,
Gate of the Vanquisher of all Evil Spells

The Number of NINIB is 4, what does the number 4 mean?

The Number Four:
Represents Stability, Order and complete Justice
It represents the Earth and Mankind
Represents the building of a strong foundation
Represents the 4 Cardinal points (North, East, South, West)
Represents the 4 winds
Represents the 4 phases of the moon
Represents the 4 seasons
Represents the four elements (earth, air, water, fire)
The number 4 was considered to be a "perfect number",
It was believed that there is 4 parts to the Soul (mind, opinion,
science, sense).
And guess what, with the significance of the Number 4, it was
even taken and imposed into the Holy Bible, and was imposed as
"the number of God".
Well, the number 4 and NINIB were worshipped and worked with
about 6000 years before the name "God" was in existance. Anyone,
and I mean anyone, who looks at that, calling themselves a Satanist
and doesn't see how much those traits are linked with the deity we
call Satan, even without having read these words, is in pure denial.
I would never impose my view onto people, and all should follow
what their heart tells them to follow, but in my personal opinion,

this theory is undismisable and cannot be shaken off.
