Lizzette Rivera
Speech Therapist

Lizette is an outstanding therapist who
goes above and beyond for her patients
and their families. She has worked for
KidsCare for over 5 year as a bilingual,
feeding speech therapist and has supervised
multiple CFYs and SLP Assistants during her time at KidsCare Therapy.
She maintains a full time caseload, managing her time efficiently and
keeping a consistent schedule while remaining flexible with each of the
patients and their families. Parents of the patients that she has worked
with in the past have stated that she is kind, patient and loving towards
their child and they are so appreciative that she is working with them.
She is the epitome of how to demonstrate the mission statement of
KidsCare Therapy.
She is committed to a high quality of care for each patient she comes in
contact with and she is accountable for her continued improvement of
therapy techniques by seeking out high quality courses that will improve
on her current skills. She works hard to ensure that each patient has an
individualized treatment plan to ensure the quickest possible progress
toward mastery of goals and she maintains a high standard of ethics
consistent with the expectations of KidsCare Therapy. Lizzette Rivera is
so deserving of the award for Speech Therapist of the Year and I am so
grateful that she is a part of my team!!

This therapist has been a valued

employee of KCT since August of
2013. She is an outstanding therapist
who always puts her patients and their
families first.
She has mentored students and a new grad.
She also has assisted with vetting applicants for KCT and ride-a-longs.
She maintains a full time caseload and provides consistent therapy while
remaining flexible with families. Parents have expressed that she is extremely knowledgeable, sensitive and thoughtful in her approach.
She is committed to high quality care and seeks out support and adds
treatment strategies to accommodate the needs of her patients. Her
patients consistently make good progress toward goals and she is an
extremely ethical and responsible therapist. Ginger Hudson is very deserving of the award for Occupational Therapist of the Year and I am so
thankful that she is part of my team!

Amie Dougherty
Physical Therapist
PT, DPT
Amie has been a valued employee of
KCT since starting with us as a PT new
grad. She is a skilled therapist and makes
her patients and families her highest priority.
She has mentored students as well as a PT new grad. She has also
provided feedback for KCT applicants and regularly has therapists ride
along with her. She is extremely organized and maintains flexibility while
providing a consistent schedule for her patients. She always keeps a
positive attitude, even when things get challenging. She has recently
begun supervising a PTA as well. She always stays up-to-date with
therapy advancements to ensure high quality treatment.
She is and has always been committed to KidsCares core values and
ensure her patients always meet their potential. Amie Dougherty is an
asset to KCT and very worthy of the Physical Therapist of the Year
award. I am very thankful to have Amie on my team!
