Manufacturing Process Control

Manufacturing Process is Control by ISO norms.
Plant-wide use of ISO 9001:2008 approach
All radiators should manufacture under IEEMA
standard.
Type tests can be carried out at customer defined
frequencies
Routine Tests carried out for each product
100% leak test at standard specified operating pressure
Control on ancillary process such as Forming, Spot & Seam
Welding, MIG Welding, Assembly , Painting and Packing.

Forming
Forming is done on advanced CNC roll forming machine according
to the lengths as per customer requirements. At this stage required
quantity of cooling channels are created which provide the
transformer oil circulation inside the radiators.

Spot & Seam Welding :

Radiator slices are welded together by using multiple spot welding
at the determined points where the oil grooves are contracted to
each other. Edges are welded to each other by using seam welding
machine and prepared complete panels for Assembly.

Edge Cutting:

Assembly:

MIG & Flange Welding

Grinding:

Testing facilities
All product are validated at Transpares , state-of-the-art, in-house
testing facilities
100 % Leak profness test : As per standard practice radiator tested
underwater at 2 kg/cm sq. air pressure for the period of 30 minutes.

Oil flushing & Internal Coating :

Radiator
internal surface is protected by
flushing of Transformer oil and varnishing.

Painting:
Flood painting a unique painting process has been
adopted to achieve free flow (sag less) finished surface
with uniform paint DFT throughout the surface of
radiators. Total Dry Film Thickness provided is in
between 80 to 250 as per customers specification.
Separate paint booths are being used for Primer,
Intermediate & Final coat.

Packing:
Packing being the most effective area of concern,
Transpares makes radiators are packed with sturdy
wooden blocks, properly nailed & tightened with steel
straps. Domestic radiators are packed either in wooden
pallets or in crates as per customers requirement
Proper care is taken with all safety measures for Export
jobs which are packed in Wooden Boxes after polythene
bubble sheet covering

Inspection & Quality Control :

Radiators are inspected and controlled stage wise to
achieve good quality of the product. Continual
improvement action is taken against customer
comments.

Nitrogen Gas Filling at positive pressure being

done in radiators on customer demand
